Today we live out our childhood dreams of playing with our own characters In a video game. Thanks for watching! Comment below if you think you can run faster than a bee.
3:24 I realized that the one trying to throw Zo out at shortstop was… Zo himself. He obviously went easy on the throw so he himself could make it in time 🤷🏼♂️
Yes I looked up if you can outrun a bee and apparently you can. From the University of Arizona: “A bee can obtain speeds of from 12 to 15 miles per hour, but most healthy humans can outrun them.” Therefore since Jack is a healthy human, i think it’s safe to conclude that he could indeed outrun a bee. Thanks for coming to my TED talk :)
I think it would depend on the distance, because 12-15 mph for the average person is sprint speed, so it would be difficult to maintain for more than 100m
These challenges always favor Jack and leave Zo at a disadvantage. Zo batted 6 or 13 with a .461 average and one triple, yet he still managed to lose. That's a performance that should win you a challenge like this. He is not rewarded for his great performance, especially since it's much harder to hit a wiffle ball off Jack than it is for Jack to strike him out. The scoring system should be revised.
y'all are living my dream job! Love the content and your chemistry is unmatched... and no Jack, you can not outrun a bee. You'd leave a mosquito in the dust though!
Jack and Zo, thank you so much for giving me entertainment as I try to make my way home. My flights have been pushed back multiple times, but I just relax and watch We Got Ice.
My brother and I spent Christmas together playing the first super mega baseball about 7 years ago. I also cooked homemade Ramen for us. And there was a lot booze. Memories.
The normal top speed of a worker bee would be about 15-20 mph (21-28 km/h), when flying to a food source, and about 12 mph (17 km/h), when returning laden down with nectar, pollen, propolis or water.
As someone that has on multiple occasions had to outrun a swarm of bees, you are not outrunning them. You might get far enough away that they eventually leave you alone, but they will get you at the start and stick with you for a while. Hornets and yellowjackets are faster than bees, too, so you're not outrunning them either.
ok so jack im pretty sure you wont answer im an upcoming blitzball league i dont have much velo i just mastered my screwball, sweeper, and sinker you and zo are inspiring but keep up the good work
On average, a healthy human being has a running speed of up to 20 miles per hour. Unless, of course, you possess superhuman speeds of up to 28 miles per hour like Usain Bolt. Bees, on the other hand, have an average top speed of 15-20 miles per hour, with some reaching upwards of 30 miles per hour. Given the above information, it is safe to say that an average, healthy human, can outrun bees. I think Jack can outrun a bee but you gotta think about out the gate speed. If Jack were to work on first step quickness he could totally do it
Honey bees never sleep. Honey bees communicate with each other by dancing and by using pheromones. Honey bees fly at 15 mph. A typical beehive can make up to 400 lbs. of honey each year
A normal healthy human can outrun a bee. 20 is their top speed, but you have to account for size and stamina. Most bees go around 12-15 and their speed drops off pretty quickly. The only exception is the africanized killer bee.
A honey bee can fly up to 22 mph at max speed, so you would have to be running pretty fast. Usain Bolt has been recorded at at 28 mph in a 100 M sprint, so are you able to run that fast? Another factor to consider is acceleration, a bee has very fast acceleration and it is also likely to catch you unawares, so the likely hood of you escaping a bee sting is pretty remote. So the answer is, if you can run as fast as Usain Bolt and can sustain that speed until the bee gets tired or loses interest, then you could outrun a bee, however some of the fastest runners among us can only sprint at 16. mph and angry bees tend to be persistent so they're likely to eventually get ya, and when least expected.
the staff who decided the stats literally just closed their eyes and guessed lol none of it makes sense. Its also hilarious how Jack actually thinks he's faster than a bee.... lmfao
