Tia’s hair was pink because that was it’s formal form. Like Luna’s hair. It was periwinkle-ish light blue, but now it’s flowing and starry. I think Celestia’s hair was pink before she matured and it became rainbow and flowing like it’s current state.
I really liked this theory. It also could explain why so many ponies look alike as they have the same design but diferent color(not the same pony apearing apearing more that once in a frame). Celestia could have only gotten so much DNA thats why some of the students of both CHS and Crystal prep don't have pony counterparts
Interesting theory but easy to debunk. It was Star Swirl and Celestia who created the portal to Human world (according to secondary sources) so they know and use it. As such it is easy to presume that if ponies didn't have own technology they simply ship or adopt it from human world before, and as they don't have hands on the first place and use mostly levitation to hold stuff (earth ponies most likely also haw limited ability sufficient to "stick stuff"), ergonomy isn't that relevant.

Couple of points: 1) The world featured in the MLP:FIM series regardless of whether or not the mirror is a portal to the past or an alternate dimension is NOT our Earth. The biggest and most obvious indicator is how their solar system appears to be Geocentric. The Sun and MOON revolve around the Planet, which is entirely different than our own. Whats more the revolve around the planet on the same orbital path and can even stop the other dead in its tracks as seen in several instances. They also are much smaller and closer to the planet than our own. If you take the comics into account (which you to in this video) then you know that the moon is small enough and close enough to the planet to literally be lassoed and pulled down to the surface with no catastrophic gravitational effects like what most assuredly happen if our own moon were handled in that way. The sun is also significantly less hot and far less massive than our own as well, as it is at the same distance as the Moon, which likely means its in the atmosphere. I don't think I need to explain what would happen if a sun as hot as ours were in our atmosphere. The planet would be cinder if it even would still exist. So this Sun that Celestia makes revolve around the planet is significantly less impressive than our real world counterpart, since it doesn't even light the atmosphere ablaze by being in contact with it. That being said it could explain why Ahuizotl wanted to make it HOTTER, because its at a manageable temperature right now. 2) Alternate dimensions have been established in canon, especially if you take the comics into account. In one arc our heroes go to a dimension where everyone who is "good" is "bad" and everyone who is "bad" is "good"; King Sombra is the benevolent ruler of that land and the two sisters terrorize it mercilessly. If we take that into account, it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to assume that the "human" world is just another manifestation of an alternate dimension. As for the age discrepancies that can easily be explained by inter-dimensional time desynchronization. Time flows differently in the human reality than in the pony dimension, a la Narnia or Neverland. 3) As for the tools thing; Pinkie Pie is your answer. In Both Equestria girls movies, Pinkie Pie alludes to being intimately aware of the happenings going on in the other dimension, both Human and Pony versions. They are aware of and connected to each other, in fact I would not be in the least surprised if Pinkie had connections to all versions of herself in all the dimensions. What does Pinkies inter-dimensional omniscience have to do with anything? Well if she is consciously aware of her counterparts, than others may have a Subconscious connection to each other. This would explain similar personality quarks across the board and similar interests even though they have vastly different experiences. Take it another step, and the concept of human inventions could of bled through to other dimensions where they wouldn't be practical via their inter-dimensional doppelgangers. Someone thinks up the hammer, and their pony equivalent feels the compulsion to make that same tool and knows what its for even though their hooves aren't all that well suited for it. That could very well explain why some inventions have been adopted like cranes, video games, horse drawn carriages, and the like, while others had been tossed aside like Cars and tires. They had the idea come to them from their parallel self, but they couldn't make it work like the other inventions. So, while its an interesting video, I'm going to have to say that the evidence could easily point in a different direction.
For me Equestria was always one of those worlds. The ones that other dimensions knowingly or unknowingly dump all their stuff in. It is established that reality and the borders between universes are pretty malleable there. It would very handily explain the hodgepodge of mythological, real and even futuristic elements that tend to pop up. Hell canon even has genuine dimension travellers like the Lutece Twins pop up, the doctor has set up shop in Ponyville and Discord? If he is not messing with Jean-Luc when not bulling ponies I will eat a broom.
My theory:Equestria was made of humans, but when a great natural disaster occurred, and they viewed that horses were fine, Celestia(a magic wielding human) turned the remaning humans into ponies, so they could survive the natural disaster. When Twilight goes in the mirror, she is going back in time to when the ponies were humans.

Magic itself is like a living organism with a mind of its own, the ability to react to emotions, get poisoned, and spread it's influence. There's a book series that illustrates the wild nature of magic in a scientific way but I can't remember what it was called. Something about a thief in the title, I think.
There is many magical systems, magic don't need explanation but it don't mean it can't be explained. It is also totally possible to create "magical" looking world with science. But I don't think it is the point here.

Phoenix Nebula I've see it used a reasonable amount of times and did a bit of research into it before but part of it is due to Greek Mythology. "The Earth personified as a goddess, daughter of Chaos. She was the mother and wife of Uranus (Heaven); their offspring included the Titans and the Cyclops." "The earth viewed as a vast self-regulating organism (see Gaia hypothesis)." From my understanding Terra literally translates to earth from latin. But Gaia is a term used specifically for our earth, either personified as a goddess or as a land mass "Giant organism" Terra is also used similarly for the Romans. "The Roman earth goddess, equivalent in the interpretatio graeca to Gaea." Gaea is another name for Gaia. I'm sure both work fine but I always assumed Gaia was the Earth's name.

Her name is commonly used in media as fantastical counterpart for our planet, but technically our planed name is Terra. Earth is how soil is described and in fact most languages have own counterpart for it.

The amazing Lyra fanfic Anthropology by JasonTheHuman (which is the inspiration for the song) is a few years old and there are several contradictions with this theory but it still poses its own interesting theory of a conspiracy covering up the existence of ancient humans in Equestria. SPOILERS AHEAD: Lyra's theories center around leftover technology and remnants of human literature in Equestria. Discord infiltrated the ancient human society and started a massive war that drove them to extinction. The actual conspiracy involves a completely fabricated Hearth's Warming Eve play that serves as a parable to symbolize how Equestria was founded on the basis of harmony and friendship in order to prevent a future war. The timeline of all of this is wayyyy off but as the story goes much of Equestria's history was rewritten by the two princesses in an attempt to erase all traces of the horrific past.
We can't check no on Ruins in equestria. because of two facts. The official map has an area called "The Ruins" which are no where near the ruined castle of the two sisters. and the Most Important Fact is that The Everfree forest is Mostly Unexplored meaning there is little known about it.
Regarding the lack of bearers of the harmony stones, it's been theorized that Sunset Shimmer may have been a candidate. In Legend of Everfree they even wind up getting their own stones. It's also been put forward that Sunset Shimmer has been in that other world/time/place a lot longer then it would appear to be. That there would be changes isn't that hard to explain, as the two words are not parallel, they simply developed along similar lines. Star Swirl the bearded could easily have brought human tools back from that world, and it's possible Sunset has been in that other world just as long as the Sirens. Long enough at least for Celestia to have completely forgotten about the two way book.
I also think thats another reason why Celestia takes Twilight on as her student... she remembers Twilight when humans roamed Earth, when she helped save Canterlot high...
well the map shows a place in the everyfree forest that has never been shown in any episode, comic or books but strangely the area is called "THE RUINS" and the everyfree forest is HUGE! it covers more then half of Equestria. at one point America had trees going all the way from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean to the banks of the Mississippi river. and in the journal of the two sisters stated that starswirl was studying timetravel. there is one point to make. a disaster like in the theory you need a pacific recipe to do so. 1 the causer 2 the second force 3 the unknown force 4 the spark 5 the failure you need three out of five to make it a possibility the causer: it could be sunset shimmer human/pony or twilight sparkle human/pony or even celestia or someone else it's just to unclear so that a maybe for now on #1 the second force. My theory is that Equestria is an alien planet. I do know by the fact that Equestria may have been an Earth like planet. The ponies who lived on the planet may have been the most dominant. I do have a theory about the events of history. According to my theory, unicorns and pegasi went extinct during the time of the black death. I Equestria, unicorns and pegasi are active. The Alicorns are very mysterious. I might find a theory for that. Alicorns may have lived in Equestria before Celestia and Luna. Something wiped them out and left the sisters in charge until Luna's banishment. The other ponies may have lived longer on that planet then the one on Earth. I think the ponies on Equestria may have been extraterrestrials. I think we must dig deeper when Equestrian history is told in a future episode.
Equestria is at the Moon, and Earth is their Moon (only to cover it up, the Asian continent got mirrored left to right and turned sideways). And yes, Princess Luna is Princess Kaguya (Shining Night).
I want to add as proof the fact Celestial and Luna have to manually make day and nightfall happen. I know it's just magic and such but that would imply it's set at a point where their planet isn't rotating at the same rate and their moon is permanently in orbit with only half the planet. it also implies that days might be longer/shorter if there wasn't someone to regulate it.
So I would update this but there's another girl in the Equestria Girls world that looks VERY similar to Celestia, but younger. I think Celestia stays "immortal" in that mirror world by her family always having daughters that end up looking exactly like herself. Maybe even all naming them Celestia. That would take care of issues with her being there. The others would have mirror versions of themselves there but their ages are out of sync because some things don't line up exactly.
I think it went like this: Equestria used to be a world like the one in Equestra Girls, but the Sunset Shimmer went all psycho and stuff and basically banished everything in her way from existence. Soon, only Clestia and Luna were left. So as a last resort, she stripped the land of everything it had and turned the two of them into helpless baby horses. But for one moment, she felt a bit of felt a speck of sorrow for the two and created Starswiril to take care of the two before deliberately self-destructing. Once the two sisters were old enough to take care of themselves and descended into alicorn status, they created a new land and a race of people to inhabit it. From then it was all smooth sailing. But soon, Clestia began to remember the people from her past and began to fell sorrowful. So, using her memories of them, she created recreations of them, and erasing any memory of the past from their minds. But after banishing Nightmare Moon, for 1,00000 years there was no one to bear the Elements of Harmony. So she created recreations of the best students: Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity. But then she needed someone to bear the last element, the element of Magic, and someone besides the she-demon that was Sunset Shimmer. So instead she created Twilight Sparkle, and created an alternate dimension like their past world. Nice, huh?
Here's my theory: Sunset Shimmer was doing one of her magic experiments when, BOOM!, she caused a magic explosion of world-ending power that turned people into ponies and dogs into dragons and etc. People were so freaked out, they started commiting suicide in large rates. The only "survivors" were Celestia, Luna, and Sunset Shimmer. Later, Celestia made a cloning facility that cloned every pony she wanted to be cloned. A few years later, Nightmare Moon was banished to the moon. Fast forward 1000 years later and there we are, at the first episode of MLP:FIM. Done. What do you think? I n many of the stories on fimfiction involving humans, it is theorized that Equus is actually the Earth, far...far in the future. Humans keep popping up in Equestria.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is implied to took place on Earth's Moon, while Equestria Girls implied Twilight Sparkle is part Earthling. Many of the items in FiM are indeed not pony oriented in designs. While this might be a sign of 'Copy and Paste' and/or a gag, it does make one wonder. Note that most of the stuff are new, so they're NOT excavated from some ruins. But they probably were made/copied from master templates/designs. The question is, from where did templates come from? Some reasoned, they came from human ruins who are now gone now. But what if ponies and humans regulary exchange items? Only mostly unknown to most ponies, or at least the audiences. That being said, many of the items in our civilization actually don't seemed to be designed for our bodies (see Secret Space Program). For example, many smartphones seemed to designed for people with FOUR fingers on each hand ('Mickey Mouse hand'). While the first Apple iMac has a small round mouse that would fit nicely on a FiM pony's hoove. I never noticed that there is an actual car tire in the ground when we see Big McIntosh and Cheerilee in the hole in "Hearts and Hooves Day"! This got to mean something! Because it shows that there were actual cars in Equestria once! Though, about your theory that the EQG world is Equestria's past, I hope this does not break your spirit now (because your analyzings are amazing and you are the only one who really does an effort for such in-depth analyzing of Equestria, never stop with that!), but there was one sentence being said by Twilight before the Equestria Games started, that has proven that EQG is entirely set in an alternate universe, including the parts that show Equestria, and that Twilight therefore never actually went through the mirror, but a different Twilight from an alternate universe did: After Spike was getting fetched up by the guards, Twilight says to him that he saved the Crystal Empire the last time he was there. Which wouldn't be the last time if his visit in the Crystal Empire together with Twilight, that we've seen in EQG, would have really happened. So, the EQG world can't be Equestria's past. But still..... The car tire! The freaking car tire! This is such a proof right here that there were humans on Equestria's planet once! Since you are so enthusiastic about analyzing and conspiracy theories, I think I can ask you that without getting made fun of: Do you think it could actually be true that Equestria, or rather, the planet it is located on, was Earth once, that something happened that let the human race disappear and a new civilization rise and that the show and the official comics actually show the future of our planet, in a hard to explain, intercosmical way? DarkSummoner2 Honestly, I doubt that this was the writers' intention, and at this point, it would take a lot of explanation on their part to adopt that idea into canon, so i doubt they will bother. ConspiraPon3 My Little Pony: Equestria Girls seemed to be set up as a future story / sequel of Friendship is Magic. Like Star Wars Episode V and Episode IV. Only we haven't got to the part where someone said Sunset Shimmer is Twilight Sparkle's real mother. And see Secret Space Program disclosure. Many of the stuff in FiM seeemed to be real. Only… the pony characters might be ET humans instead of actual talking horse. There're talking horses though, see Gulliver's Travels and The Moon Maid.

Although, when Sunset went to the human dimension it would change history, so maybe it would change whether the disaster happens, but they say it doesn't affect the show, so it's possible?
I would like to make a few counder points 1. Magic, how does it work? 2. If this is true then where are the failed clones? I don't think it would work first try 3. That time paradox is okay because it can be explained. Just watch how the doctor did it in doctor who 4. That is a dementional portal, radiation would more likely kill us rather than mutate us 5. Lyra could be a dementional hopping creature but list the way back home so she is stuck here. So she could be human but stuck as a pony. We don't know.
Here is my personal timeline of events, placing both Adventure Time and Star Trek in the MLP Universe. 2016-3000's: Advancement in technology continues, which leads to space and even portal travel and contact with extraterrestrial life. 5000: The adventures of Star Trek the next generation take place. The Star Trek crew come into contact with an omnipotent being known as Q who develops a fascination with Captain Picard and humans. 10000-50000: Advancement in Science and technology leads to advancement in breeding. This leads to the formation of merged animals such as gryphons and basic human intelligence in some animals, with humanity expressing a particular interest in equines. 50000: Peace between humans and extraterrestrials breaks leading to the mushroom war. Scientists plant the tree of harmony desperate for a means of defence. The elements prove not to work with humans however. 51000: The world of Adventure Time takes place. Finn is one of the last surviving humans and Jake is proven a prodigy with magic which was energy bred into some animals. Many of the strange creatures in the series are orphaned alien races. 60000: Humans are now extinct and extraterrestrials have left the planet, leaving ponies to take charge. 85000: The Earth ceases to spin, many ponies who have evolved into unicorns resort to using magic to keep the Earth rotating. Pegasi respond by founding Cloudsdale and making their own weather. 97000: Meanwhile, Q is banished from his homeworld and decides to move to Earth, however when he arrives he finds much has changed. As no Earth species can comprehend his true form he takes the form of many animals he discovers. After a few hundred years of exploration he becomes settled enough to take over. 98000-99000: Most history according to the show takes place around here, beginning with the founding of Equestria and ending with Luna's banishment. As ponies have hooves instead of hands history has not been well recorded, and ponies have by now taken for granted that they raise the sun and moon and control the weather. 100000: Present day MLP According to this theory EG is an alternate Universe that operates on another timeline. Think about it though, if ponies are implied to exist in EG, why didn't humans once exist in MLP.
Interesting theory, but I still subscribe to the Alternate Universe theory. Different universes does not have to conform to established timelines of another, they range anywhere from unnoticeably similar or impossibly different, the only law they have to obey is their own. For instance, in one universe everything may be the same except your little sister is your big sister, or in another all living beings are cronenberg abominations, or the Moon is actually a humongous creature's Egg... So it's not that weird if the Equestrian's birth order is different in the EqG-verse compared to FiM-verse. Though I do agree Sunset's asylum & Twilight's altercations in EqG-verse are having an unintentional side effect, really hope they explore this in Friendship Games.
Another thing to note is that if the portal only led back in time then wouldn't that just mean that twilights crown would have no different an effect to if a regular pony wore it in princess celestia's time?
This is a really popular theory. That some how Equestria is an apocalyptic version of Earth. I think it's due to cartoons like Adventure Time and Geavity Falls that we see this trend. Then again look at the Pixar Theory or the Cartoon Network theory. I think as fans we are looking for connections, when there may not be one... ... Now that being said is MLP willing to go this route? Possibly like I stated before modern cartoons have gotten away with this idea...and the shows creators have surprised me before... The Equestria Girls universe always intregued me. Again it satisfied another fan yearning (specifically a brony one) humans interacting with ponies. So now we have some motavations, for the creators to do so. Will they? Maybe But here's what interests me the most. Equestria Girls revolves around magic. It could have just been a 'normal' world... But it's not. The Sirens had enchanted necklaces? How, and why? The Rainbooms can transform? How and why? There maybe a bridge forming between the two worlds, both wither the story, and in reality.
How did Sunset Shimmer know about the power of Twilight's crown? Maybe someone had become a "She Deamon" before her, and either she read about it or she had seen it...
I have just created several explanations that bring down Equestria's theory about being a post-apocalyptic nation, but before saying all that I have to say, I congratulate this video for being used as reference on several sites as best evidence gathered to prove the theory. I don't want to fight anyone, or anything, just point the facts in topics: I'd like first to point that you can't take up seriously what the comics says, they are all non-cannon in most. We must learn to separate what is canonical and what isn't , because if not a lot of people will get confused about their timeline and history and they will develop their own theories based on what they see and interpret. And there is another, time travel and parallel universes are very complicated subjects of theoretical physics, several theories around this have been discussed, so I will be mentioning truths around calculations and conclusions. I'll first mention the geographical formations proving Equestria is a continent OF IT'S OWN, not North-America. There are a few formations in the updated map which can prove this is in another dimension, like Canterlot's Mountain and the mountains beyond the Crystal Empire. Canterlot's Mountain could be seem from kilometers away from it as seem in MLP Movie, so it logically could be as big as Mount Everest, but there is no such thing in the USA. There is no tectonic plate crossing the continent. Also, there is a bigger mountain formation to the North named Mount Everhoof, so if Mount Everest is in Himalayas, how this gargantuan mountain suddenly appeared in the supposed Canada? Remember the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs? It impacted in the Gulf of Mexico, Chicxulub, if you take a look at the map, you'll see a gulf in the format of a horseshoe, very likely it's homologous version and much smaller than the great Gulf of Mexico apparently, that is, that was probably done artificially. Also no need to say, the shape of the equestrian continent is no longer so similar to American's. If a nuclear catastrophe, volcanic eruption or meteor impact happened, there should be geological signs on the map / in the series, which doesn't. The 2nd topic is about the tools & stuff. Look, I have a theory that both universes have always been connected by quantum entanglement or even magic, in some places in the world the connection may be better than in others and the best place is in the city of Canterlot High on account of the portal. The magic would be leaking slowly from one world to another until the events of the EG films eventually increased this leaking, in the form of crystals being expelled through the portal, proof that both worlds have always been connected are these "human" items in both worlds, so a guy in both dimensions could have the same idea of creating the same iten because of quantum entanglement. The areas in the show located in the exactly same place as they counterpart is one more proof that Earth is an alternate dimension. Saddles might be only an acessory someone created to fit in the fashion ; horse-drawn carriages, quills, pens, tools, mugs, everything involving the usage of hands would be created to be used by earth ponies/pegasi and simplified by magic ; car tire or not, it's been proven they already invented trucks and magic-driven wheeled machines. The 3rd topic is about their history, there is nothing vague and no secrets, nothing. Probably Celestia just wanted to erase the story and keep a secret about a second princess because she would suffer too much from it, and she would have to be strong enough to live the present, not the past. Discord's references weren't even supposed to be taken serious, they are only references :/ ; yes, Celestia knew about the Human World, but that's because she already experienced with Starswirl what parallel worlds means, so what she only knew was that there are alternate versions of ponies living here, nothing more. Yes, the Mane 6's destiny to protect Equestria from Nightmare Moon was intentional and Celestia already confirmed it. Your clone theory is nonsense, you're pratically saying that Equestria begun at the right time all ponies we see in the series were born, which isn't, Equestria is at least 2.000 years old. The 4th topic is about the nature and biological evidences. "Why are they ages so terribly out of sync?", if u mean both Celestias, I have no idea/explanation this time, maybe because at some point of Earth's timeline, both worlds became so connected that Princess Celestia's doppelganger finally came to birth, but about other ponies it's very easy. Equestria's time runs twice as fast as our world does, so 2 years in Equestria = 1 year on Earth, this is a theory with lots of evidences. No way they would bear a robot or genetic facility, this is a faceless and sizeless conclusion to all of this and besides, cloning humans is a worldwide religious crime, if she had done it, she would have been arrested. There is NO SUNSET SHIMMER DOPPELGANGER in the human world, the writers already confirmed it. Starswirl isn't fool, he would have noticed if he sent the sirens to the distant past. If the series happened at different times, the events of EG3 and Cutie Re-Mark would not make sense. Whenever Twilight and Starlight changed history, Sunset would have memories of those alternate timelines in the distant past, because she would have come from the future, and would begin to act on them, or she would even disappear from the distant past because it would create a time paradox and it wouldn't have been any way of her travelling back in time, so Cutie Re-Mark's events would probably distort all events in EG3 and create an even bigger and random catastrophic alternate timeline. If she went to another dimension, the whole storyline of Sunset Shimmer would have been preserved in another timeline, this can be proven by watching the season 3 of The Flash. If Equestria is the US in the future, then how can animals from other continents be found in Equestria? (Like giraffes, zebras and kangaroos). The ponies came out taking animals around the world and then brought them back to their country? Even the Mane 6 were afraid to leave Equestria. How did an experiment turn all humans into mythological creatures if it were humans who created their own mythology? Why would an experiment that went wrong turn humans right into the beings they most feared and believed in the Antique? As far as I know, the Equestria Girls knows what a dragon is, and also, the magic of Equestria isn't the same as it is outside it. That's all, I just wanted to point a few errors and evidences pointing that Equestria and Earth are actually in different universes. Unless there is historical or archaeological evidence of a human civilization, or a human carcass, there is nothing to believe in this theory. There is nothing skeptical here, only evidences.
Any theory of Equestrian origins and reality has to deal with the fact that the princesses control the operation and movement of the bloody sun. The moon's bad enough, but we see omni-alicornified Twilight trying to raise the sun and instead zooming it around the horizon like a balloon caught in a zephyr. That's like walls-of-Jericho level Biblical, utterly incompatible with any heliocentric cosmology I can imagine. Hell, it's improbable even in most geocentric cosmological schemes. Either Equestria is an entirely constructed magical world with "weak' physics, or it's some sort of virtualized reality. Unless the magical field within which Equestria exists is so reality-warping that phenomena can only be experienced through the magical matrix, which requires sentient will to actuate what should be perfectly normal physical processes such as weather, the turning of the skies, the falling and melting of snow, and so forth. Equestria has no ontological inertia, or more accurately, its processes are anti-ertial. Any motion, left to its own unmediated impulse, comes to an eventual stand-still. It's a world of massive friction for the inanimate, and amplified impulse for the animate, even more so for the sentient.
There is actually another possibility that I think is even more likely. Equestria is one of those sinkholes of the multiverse, one of those places were all the shit from other universes/dimensions lands (just like the SCP world is another one of those). We know that reality and the wall between universes is very malleable in Equestria. We see stuff from all over fiction and reality pop up there. The names, Old tires, tools etc. , various fictional and real species that do not necessarily exist in the same mythology, pieces of music from different times and places, a blue angles knock off and so on. Hell we even have genuine inter-dimensional travellers like the Lutece Twins pop up, the Doctor seems to have set up shop in Ponyville and do I even need to start about Discord, who when not messing with technicolor equines is likely going around annoying Jean-Luc?

However one question that needs to be answered before I decide to accept this theory: if we had the "before elements" of harmony that were the mane 6, they all had their cutie marks right? Like on their dresses and all over their wardrobe and they had set the looks and designs of the elements, how come when the elements first took a form as gemstones they simply diamonds? And if thats just a way of saying that they don't have a "host" to belong to then why does the element of Magic already look like Twilights Cutie mark? Since her human form is clearly apart from the others and doesn't seem to have friends of any sort? How could she had set her crystal before the others because the other mane five clearly became friends and found their elements earlier than her? Or maybe human twilight got there first??? We know she has some sort of knowledge about magic right? Yeah, so she has made her connection earlier than the others but Magic IS Friendship which she clearly doesn't have well then again her friends are in another school but still isn't this something to think about? Or maybe Sunset who has friendship but doesn't understand or knows how to use magic and Human Twilight who understands magic and kinda knows how to use it but doesn't have friendship finally join and talk about this "magic element" in the Games could this mean they both finally do something to permanently set the "host form" for the next Twilight? what if they both set it unknowingly since if you think about it when twilight got her cutie mark Princess Celestia would've made sure like talk to the judges and kind of make sure they would accept her? or maybe here is another theory what if there was basically a crown like the crown for Pony Twilight but in another form like the simple diamond look that gets broken like what happened to the others but was reformed due to Human twilight's finally understanding everything about the Friendship is Magic thing and changed its form to be the star? those take AGES AND AGES AND AGES! the continents move only 2cm a year, so in 1000 years they would only move 2 kilometers. Plus, it couldn't have happened THAT long ago. The evidence suggests that because ponies don't have satellites they can't clearly see how their continent looks like and like he said, just look at old maps!
Depends on the situation. We know how long equestria has existed as a nation, but we don't know how long it took for ponies to evolve into the dominant species: think about how long it took humanity to evolve - if some sort of world ending catastrophe occurred in the near future it would take about 200 million years for the next supercontinent to form; one of the 4 potential outcomes (Nova Pangea) does seem plausibly similar in design to the map of equestria, so it's not like it is entirely possible.
I think what destroyed the human world, was the pony bomb detonated by the jokermort in rainbowdash presents my little dashie. It would explain the rise of the pony race, and why humans disappeared. (If you assume that the monkeys in rainbowdash presents series were actually humans but designed as monkeys just because they are far easier to animate and funnier.)
Wait.... discord: equestria will return to its natural state of chaos! princess celestia: *predicts the whole future* princess celestia: I must protect my subjects. princess celestia: twilight, my faithful student. my shit just flipped. princess celestia, (or should I say principle celestia) stole random hair samples from students. sunset shimmer (or sunshet.) tried to use magic like an idiot and ended the earth. then, Luna and celestia some how 'magically' survived (pun intended) and made it through all the radiation. they became... *squints at text* alicorns and made clones of their samples that also survived.
Oh and the constellations are exactly the same as earth, we know this in the episode where rarity makes dresses for the gala. So, in order for the constellations to be like that they need to live on Earth. I doubt they live on Venus or Mars because of the other evidence against it.

My theory on sunset is is a time loop she was born in the pony era and then as it has been seen multiple times she goes into the mirror the reason she has no double hanger is she was born from genetic imperfections from a character and as she was not supposed to exist the she would not have a time clone because she came after the human extinction but she then entered the human world witch caused a chain of events towards the end of the world therefore creating a paradox so she could create equestria and herself so she could create and destroy the world again over and over BUT AFTER ALL THATS JUST A THEORY A PONY THEORY AAAAAANNND CUT
Equestria could be in the future about 200 million years when the next super continent forms (most likely in the form of Nova Pangea). It would give enough to after some earth shattering catastrophe for the Reformation of intelligent life to emerge and catch back up to about where we are know - it would also explain how the can travel to Egypt without going to another continent. Just a thought!

Well, personally, I think that Hearth's Warming Eve was a cover-up and that the reason that magic is dense is that is was not a temporal anomoly, but it was ALL DISCORD'S FAULT!!! Somehow, Discord appeared and terrorized Canterlot High, turning beings of different species into other races. He would have done this over and over for his amusement if it weren't for Tia and Lulu.

what if mlp is the future of us, what if the creators discovered time traveling and went time traveling, once they came back (2000-2010) they started writing and published it as a "kids show" but putting a few hints that its the future of us, im thinking too much again.....
This is a great theory, but it's more than a little complex. I'm more a fan of the theory that states that the generational MLP series (1-4) are actually the full timeline. It fills in nicely a lot of the reasons behind why Equestria is what it is today, including locations (Unicornia, G3), inventions (G2, which would've been spurred by Megan from G1 telling the ponies about her world and how the humans do things, and from the humans already living in Ponyland), and a lot of location match-ups with prior generations.
If there's one thing I love it's linking fiction to nonfiction, so what if a Third World War happened causing thus world to be wiped out and replaced with Equestria? I mean, with all the conflict going on in Ukraine, Central Africa, The Middle East and The South China Sea along with endless US intervention, we appear to be on the path to at best a second Cold War, and at worst Nuclear War. Now I'm not saying that ponies will happen in our world, I'm saying we happened in the pony world. Though this is just speculation and I have no real evidence linking our world to ponies, aside from Equestria Girls (WHICH IS CANON), so don't take this seriously. *BUT KNOW THIS* A day will come in the near future where everything we have ever loved or cared about will change for better or worse, until then enjoy the show!
Just to add to this theory, maybe what caused the apocalypse was the portal/statue base/"time machine" being destroyed (likely accidentally done by Sunset Shimmer while studying/investigating Equestrian magic, as stated in your theory). That would probably cause magic to come out on an apocalyptic scale. The portal being destroyed wouldn't matter anyway because Starswirl would eventually create a new portal/"time machine", therefore creating a time-loop (like the time-loop that Twilight created in "It's About Time")

Ok,so a few episodes ago you said that Celestia's great great great,(many more greats),nephew from her mother's side,supposedly removed 52 times....dont you think that's a bit sketchy? No one knows of Celestia's and lunas parents.... But wait there's more,Where did the nephew come from?????????? Celestia only had ONE sister that we know of. Could THERE be another sister that neither Celestia or Luna will talk about??? This is ONE HELL of a mystery for me :/ I can't wrap my brain around it. But seriously,where did the nephew come from? IF he's not lunas son,then who gave birth to him,and why haven't we been given hints on who his parents might be? Another theory of mine is,what is Celestia's and Twilights relationship???????? I get that Celestia was Twilights mentor and close friend but what if they took that to a whole other level??? We see a few episodes where Celestia and Twilight are affectionate towards one another.
Well I reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaally want to agree with you but when Twilight went back in time what she said didn’t stop Twilight from going back in time herself, but when she went through the mirror she stopped to apocalyptic magical explosion. Therefore it would never happen, unless Starswirl’s spell altered time completely and the mirror made an alternate timeline completely. Which would mean that timeline would never have ponies. Unleeeeeeeeess that explosion some how happened later in that timeline. BUT this could mean if we did that explosion again the pointes could become humans again or squids or anything!
If this was so, what Twilight did on the "past" would have dramatically changed the future, but when she comes back, it's as if she had never left to begin with.
so, i think the latest episodes featuring the Pillars of Equestria disprove enough elements of ur theory, seeing as how Starswirl flat out told Twi and the others that the Pillars planted the Tree that produced the Elements before they banished the Pony of Shadows along with themselves into Limbo

Plus, in one of the comics, if you go back in time the mane 6 are cats, that can talk. maybe every so often the dominant race changes (cats, humans, ponies) and with each change, all the ponies are rencarnated as he dominant race. for all we know, equestria is one giant time loop. every time a pony dies its reincarnated. thats why we never see outsife of equestria, because thats outside the time loop

So she changed the story to make everyone think that it was another dimension and not the past. (And also, it was the Sirens and not Dragons)
But that would also mean that the Ponys don't Age Cause in this theory He says that it was Hundreds of years ago And MAYBE just maybe Celestia brainwashed them and them let them age now and that's what I think now -_-
I think the biggest question is how sending Twilight to the past would effect Equestria modernly. Unless of course you count the theory that discrepancies cause breaks in the time line. Where you go back in time and change something and instead of time changing, the river of time splits in two and becomes a second river.
There has been episodes with other ruins. in season 1 episode 2 just before the pinkie song Giggle at the ghostlies there is a stone wall with a crack in it. everyone assume it was part the castle. however there is one key piece of proof proving it is not. The Ravine.the second ruin is in season 1 episode 21 just before the battle takes place.the third is only showed once. under the bridge into canterlot there is a tower under it.the fourth is in the season 4 premiere. there is a collapsed bridge of stone.

The etymology of the word means dirt if you go back as far as we can. Eventually, it was also used to mean "land" (in the sense of "country"). When we finally had a concept of the place we were living on being distinct from other celestial objects, we finally started using Earth to refer to this particular ball of rock.
my idea for the whole age difference of the humans and ponies is that there is no difference and that the ponies are actually high school age and that equestria just has a different age for when ponies are considered "adults" and maybe with the others like the cmc this school just has middleschoolers and highschoolers together because the age which ponies are considered adults and kids is just different and much younger than our standards (please ignore all fails in grammar and run on sentences)
