Considering some butterflies do drink blood for food, sometimes from dead animals or animals that have open wounds, I'm surprised there haven't been more butterfly based monsters/infections by now
They are saying that sense we have blood suger and they like sweet stuff they will drink are blood cause it's sweet to them and so they are saying I wonder how we don't get infections
Tbh your theory as to what happened with the butterflies would make sense. Like he might’ve tried to do something nice to surprise Flutters and things just went out of hand at an alarming rate because either something he summoned had a disastrous effect he never expected or his chaos magic on a butterfly he was altering had backlash he hadn’t expected.
So fun fact, butterflies will consume blood and have been on corpses before to consume because they all have glucose in their composition! So this wouldn't be that impossible, just the eggs would be a bizarre thing and the mutations jumping species and genomes obviously.
I like your theory about how Discord ties into all of this but just hear me out- there was a book on the butterflies, so they’ve obviously been around a while right? So maybe Discord created it in his evil days and it’s just coming back to bite him in the butt

I try my best to be as engaging as possible well trying to stay within story limits. But just remember to thank yourself for making the series in the 1st place! There wouldn't be a video on it otherwise! I'll definitely be looking at season 2 for sure!

The Automatic filters kicked in to stop the unnecessary noise. I Wish I knew how to raise the threshold or to make it stop or whatever causes it. I want every little word- every little peep I make to be audible so I was annoyed when I found this out.

the pony shown in 1:03:48 is most likely the queen. they probably need to kill her so she can stop laying eggs and making other lesser butterflies, the eggs that are implanted into the ponies ear are most likely lesser eggs that the lessers make, the the lesser egg probably travels through the blood stream, then when they become larva, (prob starts at stage very early stage 2) the larvae puncture entry holes into either the stomach, (leads to intestines where they hatch) or in the lungs (leads to ribcage when they hatch) andd datz it!! x3
