I'm their early days they were not given enough screen time and were cut from most of the shows and showcases and Now they are given the end slot of 30+ mins like LEGENDS. The power is unexplainable! you just can't not bow to them.

what was also very special about this performance was that every single song they played was either an older song or a new song. this whole performance was a celebration of all their older songs and how far they came to be where they are at rn. a whole memorylane for army. BTS was the last performance of the night, cause i dont think anyone would be brave enough to perform after all that. It was giving 30+min to them cause they are at that stardom level now. they always perform last these past couple years. They are afterall the biggest kpop group in the world. And in that night they won ALL the big awards. ALL. From group of the year, artist of the year, song of the year, album of the year... they won ALL.

BTS solo performance before last song “Dionysus” represent god and goddess of Mount Olympus. - V as Apollo, god of sun. - Jin as Athena, Goddess of Justice. (Before Army believed that Jin represent Ares, God of War, but it’s not.) - Jimin as Artemis, Goddess of Moon. (In Greek mythology, Artemis is also known to be Apollo’s twin, and this only added more depth to the comparison of V as Apollo and Jimin as Artemis) - Suga as Hephaestus, God of Fire. - J- Hope as Zeus, God of Thunder. - Jungkook as Poseidon, God of Sea. - RM as Dionysus, God of Wine and Festivity.

J-hope's smile and sunny personality can literally make anyone smile, and if you check out more of their videos of behind the scenes you will find him even more adorable. 2019 was the first year that BTS scored the final performance slot at award shows. Which is the most prestigious slot. Usually acts doing the final performance also walk away with the Artist of the Year daesang. In 2018, SM arm-twisted the award shows to give the lasr slot to their band EXO. But BTS still won Artist of the Year. Imagine SM/EXO's embarrassment. When it became obvious that BTS gonna sweep awards in 2019, SM (& YG) boycotted the award shows.

When you guys recognized the song from radio I almost cried. I'm not even going to lie. We worked so hard for so long to get BTS played on the radio and Boy with Love is their top radio single. We spent countless hours calling and reaching out to stations to play their music and have been rejected so much. It really makes me emotional to see how far they have come. Also guys, on 8/21 they will be dropping a single and it will be in english. I hope you and anyone that reads this call stream and request at your local radio station. Purple you!

I think what you are referring to is muscle memory, which comes with years of experience performing a task, they do practice a lot for these awards and every time they have a new choreo/performance, but I imagine by now muscle memory is very much involved for them to be able to do what they do. I'm always amazed by them, no matter how many times I watch their performances.

And this is only 1 award show, In December they have so many awards show and they creat new show every single time. They never gave us the same stuff even in the short period of time.

This performance was everything. It was like a big reward for long time ARMY and a huge flex in front of the industry that was against them for so long. They remixed in their old title tracks and eras in the last portion and obviously they did that Boy In Luv/Boy With Luv stage in the beginning. They drew attention to their old works through that awards season and it was like saying 'yeah, we were this good always, our songs were bops always, it just took some of you a long time to take note'.

im so glad you pointed that out! they are INCREDIBLY fit. it doesn't mean they're not tired because they are tired, but they've just practiced for years and years how to control their breathing while singing and dancing. as trainees they used to train singing while running on a threadmill, that helps controlling their breathing and well, their voice.

In the past years there were 3 main awards (song, album, artist of the year), but then the MMA and MAMA decided to add another one so the most famous groups wouldnt feel left out. Well my guys, bts proceeded to snatch all 4 of them in a single night and it was the first time ever a group received all of them. Funny, bc in the past antis ridiculed us when BTS had no daesang (main award). They literally make history year after year lmao Legends only

I had only started following BTS a couple of months when I first saw this performance.. it was the moment I realised there and then that BTS are on another level.. America ain’t ready for something like this.

I love that you appreciate the effort it takes to sing and dance at the same time. BTS are so good at this that people, especially who don't know them, accuses them of lipsyncing since they sound so stable even when they are jumping/dancing on stage. BTS actually are the some of the most dependable singers (mainly because they bring their own mics, so the sound engineers don't fuck with their sound quality/volume), they gotta through intense training and also body conditioning. Jimin and jungkook most especially likes to go hard in performing that they often nearly pass out or experience painful muscle cramps. These boys are athletes. Mikrokosmos is actually pre-record, if i'm not mistaken so they can rest, change clothes. The boys are rubbed down, iced, massaged, make up and hair, hydrated and they breathed in from oxygen canisters if needed.

I'm with you. I watched one and these shows are about 3 hours long. There's a lot of intermission between the performances, with the exception of the first 2-3 songs. Dancers would come out, and as such. The show here as its uploaded is cut. It's not continuously performed. Lots of set changes, etc. This is like the Grammy here.

The reason why they dont breath hard when performing is because when they exercise they run on a treadmill and sing at the same time so they run and sing to build that up when performing

They never half bake live performances, I love this about them. They try to maintain the energy from start to finish, that's how you know they just really love doing this. you wont see any lazy legs on that stage where BTS stands.

Most award shows in Korea give the last performance spot to the best group of the year. The last spot to perform is like a place of honour. So, no one came after BTS. I think this is the first or second time they were given the last spot to perform. Everyone was hyped up. It doesn't matter the group, the last performance is always epic!!

(Btw the mma 2019 performance is my favorite performance from them👀) To answer your questions: -Yes, mma is an award show just like mama or The American music awards/bbma. BTS performed last at this show (and they did perform last, the last 3 years I think) -At korean award shows the artists usually perform 2-3 songs and often mashups/remixes. Because bts always has amazing performances, they got more time I think (this was the longest performance from them at an award show) -These guys that were shown are other artists. It’s basically just a short scene of their reaction to the performance (American shows do that way more than korean) -It was live and the solo dances (and the Last song, dionysus was also mashed-up with their song N.O and dubstep elements) we’re remixes/special versions of some of their songs: V~ No more dream Jin~ Danger Jimin~ I need u Suga~ fire Jungkook~ Save me J-Hope~ Fake Love RM~ Dionysus To give some background information: For them it’s quiet easy Now to perform one or two songs back to back (if the choreography is „easy/normal“) but when they first started they were exhausted after one song. So they really are fit and got used to it. However, performing so many songs back to back IS exhausting and after the performance they breathed hard and looked really exhausted (there are some fancams where you can see it) I even read from a person that worked backstage, that all of them had oxygen bottles to breathe better and some people were assisting them while walking. We are again so grateful that they work so hard to show us an amazing performance. Of course we are worried when we notice how exhausted they are but at the end of the day we have to remember, that they do all of this for us and because they love performing. BTS Are just such amazing artists, performers and people. I never thought I could love an artist this much until I met bts. I hope they stay healthy. Thank you once again for your genuine reaction. BTW some of this was pre-recorded so the experience for those watching it on tv or internet was slightly different than for those in the audience - the horses for example weren't on the stage with all the crowd around and such as that would have been too dangerous, scary for the horses, etc. they work with animals very carefully.

But one outstanding performance shook the world when he performed it - Jimin’s “I Need You” contemporary dance! FYI after Jimin’s solo stage, he recorded three trends around the world, more than 5 million mentions, placing No.1 in US trends. It remains the legend stage of all generations. Jeff Benjamin, Billboard journalist, tweeted that it was an otherworldly performance. He also previously poured out praise & noted in a best dancer poll that Jimin was the “King of Modern Dance”. Nobody follows them after cause they are the main performance. BTS performance where you thought its the end then they were like "nope, we have more coming". The inside joke for ARMY's were BTS turning award show like their own concert. And they really do. They always blew me off when they perform cause they always give their best. A few years ago their performances used to not air live although they would work extremely extremely hard for it during months. Also some of their performances would be very poorly filmed, not showing properly the choreo that they had worked so hard for. Now that they can afford it, big hit finally give bts (and army) the performances they deserve and it is very pleasant and rewarding to see.
