The 2010 Fighters Only World MMA Awards, presented by BodyBuilding.com, was filmed live at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Wednesday night December 1st. The Show will premier on the Versus network on Thursday night December 9th at 7p pacific / 10p eastern.

@iamjason It is. Just like a left hook is generic and basic, but Joe Frazier's was spectacular. It's how you use it.

All submission moves used in MMA tend to be "generic and basic" so there is no point in even saying it except to imply that somehow Werdum got him in something that made him look like a beginner. All knockouts are "generic and basic", its pointless to even mention the move. The way Werdum set it up by feigning injury and the fact that he locked it in so fast and doubled up on the armbar, and Fedor, who is extremely strong and well versed in submissions and defenses could not escape.
