I used to ring announce for a minor league feeder to the ufc…I had a guy once after the fighters meeting wanted to talk for me for the 9th time about his entrance & his nickname and how exactly and when exactly to say it..after his, and I can’t make this up…rapper friend finished his life with rap about him on the way to the cage etc.. finally I ran out of patience and said.. “you’re very very concerned about how you’re getting into the cage..you would be smarter to be more concerned how you leave it. He told me I was disrespectful, I told him it was just my advice after seeing hundreds and hundreds of fighters climb into the cage. He left on a stretcher about a minute or so into the first round. 🤷‍♂️
