Good show guys. Roland had a great show back in the day. He had a solid gym for a while. I still have my brausa fight team jump suit. It’s gotta be 20 years old. Haha. Roland was a good teacher. He was my first jujitsu coach. If he knew better I feel he would have done better. His platform produced many fighters and quite a few ufc fighters. Great contribution to the local mma community. Good show guys. Today’s guest brings back memories.
Totally agree with all the comments in regards to Joe being a brilliant addition to the show. He has an incredible insight into the fight world and its so interesting to hear. Would be awesome to see him walk out with Suga at the next fight.
Solid lil show, nice zen vibes. Legit one of my fav podcasts, real mfers that have logic, take the bodys health serious and just shoot the shit🤙🤙🤙. Mind, body, and soul vibes
I have a funny story. When I finally started training BJJ at a real school a few of the guys were all talking amongst themselves then came and said they would roll with me but they wanted me to go lightly with them as they were newer white belts “it was a NOGI open mat” I told them I’m new also I only had 1 stripe there were like no way dude you run RAGE IN THE CAGE I said no that’s Roland Sarria. We all laughed and rolled like some spazzy crazy white belts. Great times
I remember that spot on Indian school his pops Andy took me and his bro Jason to an event where a dude named Bucking bronco was fighting or someshit, I think Joe came with or fought. I still have a poster from the Rage in the Cage days had him autograph it before he's in UFC he autographed it and has a personalized message on there "Keep smoking Bean" me and his bro Jay would blaze A LOOOOT and now it's weird to hear/seeing him blaze with Tim every other ep on the pod lol funny how life goes, I never thought I'd see the day. This was the Herb Dean days he beat that dude with punches with TKO submission under a min, that's insane to think about it was in 2003 Rage in the Cage.
Why do you guys keep talking about he doesn't need money and all that I thought fighters did it because they were martial artists and they loved competing for the honor of it when did you become about money
Bruce Lee everyone in the past would be completely disappointed at this era of so-called martial arts this generation has completely smeared the image of martial arts by the things you guys say and how you dress and how you conduct yourselves in public
i got an old ass hat autographed by joe 😂 riggs. ask him if he knows crue walker. bob walker. his son was muaytia champ while back. rob walker . dayton ohio??
