Jeremy Jordan performs live on the Mickey Mouse Club Featuring the right kind of love 4 Valentine's Day Introduction by Lindsey Alley and Nikki Deloach en.wikipedia.o...)
The whole back story, the success, the self abuse, and now the recovery. He is such a remarkable man they should make a movie about him and what he has overcome.
@@zeebo8965 He has overcome so much. So brave. A movie about him would be inspiring --- born to a teenage mother who gave him up to his father, stepmother died of cancer, father was schizophrenic, JJ and siblings put in an orphanage - he was there 9 years! - the orphanage that has a well documented history of physical / sexual abuse of the children - JJ even testified in court. He lived on the streets after running away from the orphanage and before he got the record deal... sadly the testifying opened up wounds and he became addicted to drugs and ended up in jail for a short time. He has lived to tell the tale
Very underrated artist really never got the credit he deserved thank God for this channel existing because I can relive my childhood watching this I wish they were rerun the 90s Mickey Mouse Club watching this is just a reminder of why the 90s was is awesome
He unfortunately got involved w drugs.. his story is actually super sad his dad dropped him off at an orphanage when he was young where he was sxlly absd and he ran away. In his teens he ran into someone at a restaurant and like a goofy kid demanded an audition on the spot.. and actually got it. His singing career started taking off and he was also focusing on acting, when suddenly he saw the man who absd him was on trial for hurting other kids, and he knew he had to fly over and testify to help put him away. Unfortunately that brought up a lot of repressed trauma, and he started dabbling in Crystal meth. You can see his progression on the movie Never Been Kissed, he’s actually a great actor and def started slipping thought out the movie. Unfortunately not long after that he became a full blown addict. His wife had to give him $20 to set him up w an undercover officer to force him to get help. By that point I think all was lost and too late.. he rarely makes any appearances but still records music. I’d love for him to write a book about his life.. it’s truly tragic and he should def be more well known.
I found out about Jeremy Jordan because of 90210 and the song got some heavy airplay in my country because of that. This is one of my fave songs from the 90s. Such a bop.
I love Jeremy,, I wish he was more active these days but I understand his sobriety is his #1 priority. I really wish he would write a book about his life. More people should know about him!
I have this whole album saved on Spotify & listen to it regularly. I was 10 when it came out, but my sister was 17...so I got to listen to music that I probably shouldn't have lol
I didn’t discover Jeremy Jordan until last year thanks to various 90’s internet stations. Better late than never and I agree that his album was fantastic and didn’t get as much credit as it should. He is very talented and I wear the album out on Spotify as well.
out of every single track i listen to, on his album, this one's my favorite. "Pop-Up Video" brought me here, so did "BH 90210", when their first soundtrack came out.
He actually sounds really good live. The sound is so diluted new jack swing... like a white version of Al B Sure lol. This was right after Paula Abdul and Bobby Brown made new jack swing mainstream to white Americans.
Thank you so much! Arigatoh! Love from Japan (by Keiko)
Hi. When I was much younger, I sent his CD to an English teacher from England. I didn't understand what he was singing. I guess he got very confused. I've restarted to learn English for 2025 Osaka Expo. Come to Japan by all means!
