The 2024 Michelmores Property Awards mark 21 years of celebrating the best property, development and construction projects in the South West.
Lowen Ward and Trelawny Scanning Suite has won the award for Project of the Year (over £5m). A major scheme within a critical, live hospital campus, the Royal Cornwall Hospital project required a collaborative, future-focused approach to address the complex procedures and imaging equipment needed to improve medical outcomes and the patient experience.
Designed-in flexibility, acknowledging future requirements and adaptations, allied with sound structural design and excellent on-site logistics have resulted in a finished project that is already making a difference to staff and patients in Cornwall.
