Hi MN, been watching you on and off for a while, always enjoy your content. I've been dumpstered by your APES premade on Classic wow mutliple times so I feel like you owe me this question ;) I bought and played the New World beta in July/August, but didn't try the pvp. Would you say that the PvP in New World is sustainably fun like in Classic wow, and worth encouraging my friends to play? I haven't read anything about the game since Augst so I havent got a clue whats been going on tbf.
We have a problem with the mmo community expecting every new game to be some 'new wow' that they live and play on for the next 10 years when in reality that's the last thing anyone wants. You can watch streams, videos, read about the game and decide if you wanna play, if it lasts you 2 weeks, well you had fun for 2 weeks right. I CBA wasting energy trying to convince my WOW friends to play NW, they are currently unhappy on WOW and they can stay like that, meanwhile i'm having a blast pvping as a noob vs noobs on a new game.
@@MonkeynewsYT That's a great response, I'm currently playing GW2 with some friends while I wait for NW to fully release, and I'm really hoping my friends come around to it. The reality is that for a lot of people it isn't really the game but who you're playing it with, and I'm one of them. I don't know what server I'm playing on but if I see your name I'll be sure to give you some payback ;)
You've got such a great sounding voice and yet you never use it! We wanna hear you narrate the fights while they're happening, hear your opinion on aspects of the game that come up as you play, and just your general opinions on it.
noticed a lot of these they are lower lvl than him... way less health.. for the couple days i played i also noticed getting attacked from higher lvls felt very unbalanced lol, which i assume is to be expected by i figured id note that for those who havent played at all yet.. health is everything in this lol.
i was the highest level on the server so it's hard to find ppl, lucky there was a tryhard organised guild playing covenant. first 2 fights everyone is around same lvl, also theres a 1v4 in there where im 11 and the other 4 pp are lvl 10. cmon m8!! 👍
@@MonkeynewsYT not knocking your gameplay man i think ur gameplay was good, also unique as i didnt see many people rocking double 2handers like you did. everyone does a ranged and melee setup seemed like. good gameplay dude! Just wanted some people to know that didnt play the game, i started late in the beta and got rekt by ppl that were higher lvl than me constantly and it legit felt like there was no fighting chance, every fight i had with someone my level i did win however, even in a 1v2 a couple times like you did in your video so outskilling is definitely 100% possible in this game but level gap makes it kinda not doable is all. shouldnt be a prob in the actual game when everyone is maxed i assume since it doesnt seem to take too long to max out.
@@ImperviouslyGaming i really hope they bring back the pvp scaling for low levels, was sad to hear some streamers complained when they got owned on stream by a lowbie
I only played this beta for like 2 days and these players were the highest levels on the server. And I had no decent footage of me dying because I didn't really die, i would run away. Wait till I release some level 60 vs 60 content and it will be a lot different i'm sure.
