I ordered a MN82 Toyota Land Cruiser LC79. This is one of the interesting RTR crawlers you can get at this time.
In this video the LC has it´s first run outside.

Very Australian land cruiser with a gallah in it lol ..... bad driver's are called a gallah in Australia which is the name we give a pink and grey cockatoo I really like the little cruiser I was shocked how well it kept traction on the concrete hills with sandy tyres nice work Durk 👊

🤣 Now I have to check out more about the gallah. The car's great. I don't know how much the new tires help to improve the driving. Because of the paint job I didn't a before and after run. And you're right with your observations. I have bigger and hobbygrade cars here, which only dig into the sand instead of plowing through. One of the best purchases I had made. Have a great werk Mark

Well Dirk, the LC79 looked great out there on it's first run, but poor old Buddy the parrot was too drunk to hold on! That was funny seeing him falling off so many times, I hope he is OK!!! I was impressed with how smoothly the truck ran, it seems you have the suspension dialled in good! All the best my friend!

Thanks a lot James. Thi car's so cool. This is the second version of it. It even has ametal pinion. So even in stock version you can have a lot of fun with it. But for me building and upgrading is my favorite thing😉.

Da isser also! 🙌 Dein MN82 ist echt wunderschön geworden! 😍 Dagegen kann man mit einem Serienmodell nicht anstinken. 😁 Ich finde die Wirkung dieser "Multicolour- Lackierung" etwas schwach, aber das liegt wohl auch an der Größe des Fahrzeugs. Ich habe solche Lackierungen schon bei verschiedenen VW Phaeton und Audi A8 gesehen. Da kam der Effekt wesentlich besser rüber, was aber wohl auch daran liegt, das sie mehr Fläche bieten um die verschiedenen Farben wiederzugeben. 🤷‍♂ Aber zwischendurch sieht man es halt und das sind dann Highlights! 💪 Für Deinen Fleiß und Deine Umsetzung müsste man eigentlich mehr als nur einen "👍" geben dürfen!

Hi mein Freund. Wenigstens ist der Effekt im Video rüber gekommen. Und Du hast Recht, die Fläche spielt auch eine Rolle. Der Lack ist auch für die 1:1-Fraktion gedacht und daher etwas dichter als Modellfarbe. Beim Effekt an sich, muß ich mal kurz ausholen. Der Effektlack ist im Grunde nur ein Klarlack mit Metallpartikeln, die sich selbst ausrichten. Das heisst, Du fängst mit einer Farbe an, und je mehr Schichten folgen, geht die Sichtbarkeit in Richtung der zweiten Farbe. Es kann also die Wechselintensität definiert werden. Funktioniert bei einer 2 qm Motorhaube besser, als bei einem Modell. Aber ich bin happy mit dem Ergebnis und daß Dir das Video gefallen hat. Der Wagen kommt heute Nachmittag wieder in den OP. Ferderung Hinterachse, Motor und Getriebe wollen getuned werden. Dir noch ein schönes Wochenende.

Beside the top heavyness it´s real cool. Long running time, enough torque and it takes sand and grass. I had Tamiyas out that just dig into the sand and didn´t move. Yes, I´m happy.

Danke, ja ichwerde noch mal ran dürfen, mittlerweile gibt es auch die Teile für hinten. Die Dämpfung soweit ist ziemlich scale. Sieht gut aus beim Fahren, kommt aber an keinen Crawler ran. Liegt auch an fehlenden Flex. Aber hey, 60 Ocken für das Auto sind unschlagbar.
