In NCERT it is written as Citric Acid but you explained as citrate.😬 I'm confuse. Vipin Sir, please clear doubts.🙏

When an acid releases H+ ion it becames -ate (sulphuric acid bcm sulphate, acetic acid bcm acetate). Similarly citric acid bcms citrate In living system (cell), citric acid is present as citrate and H+ ion.
