I'm just relieved that Hongseok debuted into Pentagon. Because honestly he didn't fit the vibe and mood of the YG company. Pentagon and CUBE is more of his style. So I'm happy that he found a group to blend and company in with well~ Also, for those who thought B.I was too harsh, let me explain why he shouldn't get hate because of it. Hanbin is a leader. And being a leader is to have a goal and to achieve it. That means there is going to be honest criticism, hardships, and the clash of heads. So it's natural of Hanbin to give off harsh criticism. It's a process of wanting to work together and become an idol. Criticism is apart of the journey, wether you like it or not.

i dunno about other leader of idols group, but for what i see this is what we called true leader, bcoz he knows how to protect his members and make them be the best! And the important thing is all the members follow him well. Thats what make iKON solid and dope group!

I don't care what others think about Hanbin but I really like his personality. Yeah, he's harsh and he might be cruel but deep inside he really cares about his team. Hanbin is not fake, not two faced and he's not using any sugar coated words. Instead he's always straight to the point and just being real and that's what I like about him the most. I cried when B.I just arrived at the studio dance and just give a smile to Song eventho his hurt. He just doesnt want his member to worried about him. I can see how strong he is. That's why whn the netizen critized him,he doesnt care much abt it cause he is a strong leader

Before you say bad things about HanBin. Did you know how much of his pride got tested in SMTM 3? After regaining himself and being eliminated in the show, I remember him saying, "I've been to hell multiple times, and now i think it's getting comfortable. Next time i go through this i won't be fazed."(something like that) And to think that he's going through this at the same time. Even though YG confirms his spot in iKon, the bond with the other 3 members who is also in the verge on being eliminated, made him desperate to run away from all of this shit. God knows how hard this guy work. He just climbed back up from hell. You gotta hand it to him. I really admire him for that. Slay them B.I.

Yunhyeong is really kind and sweet. I love how he cares a lot for B.I! He even cried because he felt bad for B.I being the leader, which made him carry a big burden on his shoulders. I really love Yunhyeong and I hope Yunhyeong will also receive much love from iKONICs and other fans, because from what I see, Yunhyeong is kind of underrated; ;

You know one's got real shit on his shoulders when he ran away but no one blame him, not even a single word. Even the staffs seems to understand and simply go get him back.

"How can we not make it? We have BI in our team" That's it folks. He's the ultimate ace of ikon. He's multitalented and above all he has great leadership. YG said jinan and bobby can be the heads of their teams but no one can actually pull the role of a leader off. Jinan is too neutral, bobby is very good but he can only make himself stand out and doesn't have the ability to organize as well as BI. As a leader, you can see from their performances, he makes people shine more than him, his parts in my opinion don't really cause an impact, he's just like background for his members after they debuted. The longer they are into their journey, the more he's more humble, his clothing style, rapping, etc. People who were not ikonics since the beginning, they usually notice bobby and the others more, that's how you know BI has been doing a great job. It's a blessing that BI joined yg and ikon, he's the second GD. People who say he doesn't deserve to be there or should step down, they should get their brains checked. I'm a new ikonic but Ive doing all my hw, everything about ikon from the dirt, I've watched and admired them. If Ikon is underrated, then BI must be super duper underrated. He's sacrificed the most by taking all the bullets coming towards them. I don't even know what to say more to justify my opinion. Hanbin ah, we'll wait for you, if something happens, support is the only thing we can offer.

When I first saw Bobby I didn't find him the most handsome... But something magical happens when he raps or performs and he becomes super attractive. All my focus to him on the stage. I guess it's his star appeal and charm.

to all the whining people who are fast to judge Hanbin, saying he's too harsh or a bully. this boy was like 17 years old back then, he was shooting not only this show but also SMTM at the same time. he writes and composes songs, had to make sure the others practice well and he had to give his best in SMTM. Hanbin is a perfectionist, he's self-critical and a person who knows he has to be successfull because not only his but also the future of the other members is in his hands after all. that's a huge burden on the shoulders of a young man he was even younger back then. don't judge him, you'd have shit yourselves if you were in his shoes. he's leading his team like a real leader. not like a common prettyface-marionette leader who just got this position because the company said so. he may be strict and a little scary but ikon wouldn't be the same without him.

there's a reason why B.I is the leader despite not being the oldest. not only because he is a lyricist, a choreographer and a composer. it's the way he takes his responsibilities. it's the way he works so hard that his members can't even complain when he works them hard with practices because they know that their leader is working twice or thrice as hard as them (in Climax he stated as a matter of factly that he feels reaponsible for his members and he is carrying not only his dreams, but also the dreams of his team mates on his shoulder. at his young age, that's a huge task he put on himself). in the practice room he indeed is a respected leader and maybe without his leadership, IKON won't be the ikon we all came to know. even his members had said so. his members described him as pure... maybe because the only human interaction he had was in YG. he knows about music and work, but he is quite innocent to other mundane things. Before their debut, he only knew how to work hard, not having so much time to enjoy himself as he spent almost all his time in the studio or practice room. so, give this Kid a break. he takes care of the team as a whole and jinhwan and bobby can console the members when the times are hard to endure. btw, BI told hongseok to practice as long as he was there and ask donghyuk to teach him the steps five days prior before the day he kind of got mad. you can't expect BI to teach hongseok one on one when he had so much on his plate. if the new trainees really wanted to learn, they.could have asked the other members.

I definitely think Hanbin is one of the best leaders i've seen in a kpop group period, and I've been in the fandom for years now. What I like is that it doesn't feel like he was casually placed as leader bc of some age thing; I feel like he's the leader for a reason and he actually leads. It's refreshing. Watching this again a year or so later though, I can't help but feel like Chanwoo clearly fit in with the group way more than Jinhyeong and Hongseok even here. Jinhyeong would've been a close second, but it was always very clear that he wasn't sure of himself, like ever lol. It was a hard thing to watch sometimes, though he seemed like a great guy (and i won't lie, he was cute). As for Hongseok, I think he was a little too straight forward as far as personality, bc while he was "nice", or said nice things like hey let's be friends, he still completely misread the actual social cues of the situation. It just wasn't the time. That and not one thing about him besides his voice would've made him a good fit for ikon. Like honestly, I could write a whole essay on why hongseok wouldn't have worked in this group, but I hope he's doing well in whatever he's involved in these days. anywho hanbin looked hot af in that performance of rocket so i'm gonna consider this a re-watch well spent

In case some of you dont know, the subs have been released for this episode. During the infamous scolding scene, the 3 newbies AGREED with BI. ALL 3 of them admitted that they have been too relaxed and didnt practice even though he told them to. oh and Bobby also scolded them after. He said to the camera that he agreed with every single thing BI said, and that he sees the new trainees as nothing more than temporary members. He also added that if they are gonna keep at this level then they should at least practice hard enough so that they dont end up ruining their performances. If anything, what Bobby said is just as harsh if not harsher than what BI said. Bobby made it clear that he doesnt even consider the new trainees as potential members of iKON and all he cares about is that they dont end up ruining the performances on this show. Honestly, I cant blame him for thinking this way. If i were Bobby, I would too think this way

This episode was intense, I feel bad for B.I he has so much stress with SMTM and M&M and then with the new trainees joining in and his fellow members from team b that they may or may not make it in IKON. I have to say for a 17 year old boy he has so much stress in him and to much responsibility, and he is not the oldest but he is the leader and knowing that he can't go to his hyungs cause he might worried them and stress them out even more it's sad cause B.I also needs someone he can talk to and rely on, and someone to protect him, i know his members love him and care for him and support him but B.I can't go to them and tell them about his problems Cause his worried he might stressed them, I'm proud of B.I, Besides being sooooo talented, he is responsible and mature and a loyal leader and friend. B.I FIGHTING!!! and Donghyuk his voice... I love how he sang "rolling in the deep" it's looks like his vocals have improve, and Jinyoung is improving too, and as for Bobby he left me speechless, his performance was amazing, he never fails to impress me. Anyways IKON FIGHTING! NEW MEMBERS FIGHTING!

reading the comments i expected from B.I to be really harsh and maybe even rude to the new trainees. i mean when i first saw him he indeed looks scary and honestly if i were the newbies i would have shit myself. yeah he should have controlled his emotions and shouldn't look pissed when he heard that newbies are gonna join their team. BUT his words weren't rude. he was just scolding them because they didn't practice enough. it did sound harsh, but not because he is rude BUT BECAUSE HE SAID THE TRUTH. it was a wake up call for their trainees that this shit is real and that they should get shit done. the newbies felt embarrassed because his words were true. anyways when bobby smashed the guitar OMG SLAAAAYYYYY

난 이영상을 보고 저렇게 고생해도 병도 안나고 단지 힘들다는 생각뿐만이라는걸 알고 더 열심히 산다...

I dont really stan any kpop idol.. i just love k-drama and runningman..But hanbin is different. The first time i saw hanbin was on runningman.. His smile was so sweet that i fell for him right away. then i watched WIN.. i cried when he sang Climax.. I fell for him again because that performance was so touched. After that i watched Mix and Match. He was a tough, hardworking and serious leader while preparing for their performance. Those things make me attracted to him. When he ran away, i felt like crying again. It must have been tough for him. He was so young yet he held so many responsibilities. When he's on stage, he showed no sadness or weaknesses. He gave his all and enjoyed the stage.. So charismatic. I started to find all hanbin's related videos then. He composed, produced and wrote songs also involved in dance choreography and song arrangement. No doubt, he is so talented. That's why Yang Hyun Suk, Masta Wu, Epik High and others complimented him alot. Even his group members respect him and said he's the best leader for them. He does has his cute side tho. Im surprised to see his childish side when he went to the zoo and how he treated chanwoo. "jung chanwooo...did you go to the north pole? chanwoo yaaaa.. choco cone.. choco cone" hahahahahah i can never forget that. His appearances in Mari and I is the climax. He woke up with grandpa hair style lmao and he's still lookin good. Hanbin yaahh, fighting! i'll always walk this journey with you and other iKONICS will do the same too. So, fighting! i want to say gomawo..thank you for coming into my life... ;)

Did anyone actually wonder if maybe the reason B.I didn't hurry to correct and teach Hongseok was that he wanted to test him and see how quickly he learned? Whether or not he could catch on from seeing others dance with him? Testing his independence as one of the oldest? Testing if he was the type to give up straight away. The type to lean heavily on others for guidance? Maybe he was testing if Hongseok was determined, or whether he would quit dancing early because he didn't get it. I know B.I wasn't exactly friendly, but hey he went through a LOT without them so accepting them openly would be difficult, especially when you're a person as watchful and serious about your work as B.I. And he has to lead and do a whole lot of other stuff. I'm an open minded person and I rarely view things when already doubting or forming opinions about them, and it's almost like being empty-headed, which is actually really useful when watching people and trying to understand personalities. I never viewed a single one as bad or rude, even from the beginning, only feeling a little tense towards Hongseok when he was rather abruptly not only stepping in as a little sly looking (I could see what Junhoe meant) but also leading conversations and making the conversation right of the bat which I'm thinking B.I saw all too clearly. If I was him I would feel the same, and would be more accepting towards a more mild and respectful approach (I think he knew that the atmosphere would be cold, but it was more dangerous to do what he did), letting the original members lead and then Hongseok could learn from that what to expect. B.I came of to me instantly as a good, strong leader, firm and determined and willing to work to the bone not only for himself but for the team. I never once had a bad feeling towards him because I could see and understand the burdens he was facing. And I have always held a firm opinion that though some leaders are nice and talk kindly while leading, it's the hardened and down to the point, more scary and more stern leaders that keep their followers alert, working hard and ready for challenges.

Mix n match shows how honest and true IKON is, they don't pretend just for the show that's why i love them. Hanbin's words are true to the core.

Just finish watching with the subtitle. As i see, Hongseok only had 2 weeks training before YG threw him to this competiton. He had to take the first move by asking the members to introduce themselves, he actually tried to befriend with them. He did tell the members beforehand that he didn't use to sing hip hop songs or dance before. He is nowhere to be arrogant but simply confident and open. It's his fault in this ep that he didn't practice enough but he admitted his fault to be a burden to the rest. I found him cute and awkward when he was alone with the members. This boy has some potential but need a push and work extra hard to get a spot in iKon. In B.I's case, he definitely has leader material but there were few flaws in his leadership. From the beginning, he already said that he wouldn't want to work with Hongseok and somehow ignored him during the 1st dancing practice. Even if he didn't like HongSeok much, he still had to guide him instead of leaving the boy alone. Leader doesn't leave his teammate alone. However, he tried to help Hongseok out during the rehearsal. B.I probably sorted his thought out and improved/changed his leadership after his disappearance. Moreover, this boy is not rude but quite harsh when it comes to practice. If you watch unreleased vids, B.I gets along with the members well. He is kinda shy when strangers approach him as well. He is a respected leader and I want to know how his brain works because he is just so creative. Some of you seem think Bobby/Jinhwan deserves to be a leader. Tbh, everyone can be a leader but they have to change themselves a bit in order to fit the role. YG appointed B.I as a leader because he can choreograph, dance, rap, compose and write lyrics. Bobby has his own stress but it can't be compared to B.I. B.I received many negative feedback from contestants, judges, and netizens in SMTM. YG even said he had to pack his stuff if he didn't do well in the show. Now, you can see how stressful he is if you put yourselves in his shoe. JinHwan and Bobby are peacemakers in the team who try to understand the others and encourage B.I to go through this hardship. I can see some Team B fans bash the new trainees and vice versa. Let's me tell you that the boys get along just fine and they would probably cry their heart out if one of them got eliminated. Stop assuming all Hongseok fans hate B.I because some of you simply hate and blame everything on this boy. To sum up, whoever think they deserve a spot in iKon, they will have to work extra hard to earn it.

I'm so sick of this "BI is harsh, he shouldn't be leader" I'm sorry but excuse yourself out of here. BI was leader since day one, since the day he became a trainee. You can't just base it off of what you see here & you can't even base it on WIN. Every since a member joined, since Bobby/Jinhwan, he has been the leader. He didn't just become leader all of a sudden. From all the comments against BI, you guys aren't even realizing he took in 5 other members before these 3, just last week we saw him take in 2 more & now another one. Be compassionate please. Yeah he is harsh but tbh he's been harsh probably ever since he started being the leader, you're only realizing it now because it's on camera? That's bs. Bobby would be a great leader, that is true. But there are something's that were set the way they were because it was suppose to be like that. I don't think bobby would even want to be leader after being under BI's lead. You're just burdening Bobby by saying that. Jinhwan would probably be even a better leader than Bobby, if you think about it. But that doesn't change anything because BI is the leader, not because we want that because the team wants that. Nobody's complaining about BI's leadership skills except us, the so-called "fans". During ep 2, BI lead Bobby during the dance, that's how it is. You could clearly see BI leading Bobby. The three Kims are like the captains but even captains need someone to lead, that's BI. Our YunJunDong know it, & you know it too. So don't blind yourself by a survival show & try to clearly understand where BI stands. BI is doing the best he can, & I thought we were suppose to give him support not telling him he's doing things wrong. He's trying his hardest to make his team the best team. A leader can only lead if he trusts his troops, he just doesn't completely trust the new members yet, that's completely okay. Because you know what, he's only human.
