You sir have single-handedly outdone the craptastic animations Lego gave us. From the start I loved it, and we should have gotten something like this as it had actual atmosphere and visuals with little dialog. Lego should be ashamed of themselves that you proved how "easy" (I can imagine the amount work you put into this) it is to do something right, instead of just doing a half-assed work then calling it a day.

+G Q P The Lego animators are probably very embarrassed watching this crying in their bedrooms. I'm not watching Lego's crappy animations anymore, because it ruins Bionicle's reputation in my eyes. I was about to quit lego when I saw what crap of an animation Lego was doing, but after seeing THIS, I finally realized and was releived that there was still an extremely talented human being that knew better than anyone what Bionicle actually IS, the spirit of the toy, everything, not from Lego's crappy animations, but from Metru Nui Legacy. I'm not going to give a ship about the crap Lego's doing, they've just lost the FEEL for it, I'm just gonna watch this awesome master piece and all of the other awesome incredible things in the future coming out of this LEGENDARY channel. It is just so nostalgic.

By far the best quality animation ever of the actual BIONICLE animation ever. Really a diamond in the rough, with sadly only a couple thousand subs to show for the most high quality work on RU-vid for animating. My favorite effect is definitely the changing of the bone color parts, especially Kopaka's hands "crystallizing". Great job!

This is awesome, I still enjoy the Bionicle official animations but they don't hold up to this. I love the way you animated this in ways I haven't seen for a Bionicle video, especially with the weapons and armor.

This is awesome! The animation works perfectly, the atmosphere is wonderful and though there wasn't much story in this video yet, I get the feeling we're gonna see some of that as well in the future. Certainly some of the best Bionicle-related work on RU-vid.

Great video, I love that there isn't a narrator and, just letting that part of the video speak for itself without anyone talking. I have a feeling that this is going to be a lot better then LEGO Miniseries. But a problem I have is not the video but the title of this series, when I hear "Okoto Origins" I think of what happen before the Toa arrival.

I feel i've been waiting this for years, and man, it did not disappoint. the transformation sequences were amazing, the shots astonishing and the atmosphere screams BIONICLE. Aside for been criminally short (concidered your are the only guy who did the entire short, that's excusable) the only problem i have is the music. I don't know, i feel that Breakthrough from Royalty Free Kings would be more fitting, but thats minor. What else can i say that you didn't heard already, this is meant to become an instant classic, far more better that the official flash animations.

B-e-a-utiful. The best bionicle stop motion I've seen. You have put all the talent and beauty of your posters into motion, literally. The balance of stop motion and what I can only assume is bone tool animation is done so well. The fact that you can almost see how many images were merged to form the backgrounds really gives it style. Oh, and that villager of stone jumping in front of the camera on loop was pretty funny too. It's acctualy kind of sad to see that this only has nine likes and all the compliments in the comments are one-word. That's acctualy why I'm making this so wordy. :D also, will this drag on to the skullies? Acctualy, I think if you did that, this would end in 2017. Lol. But then again, people still do vids of the Toa Mata.

The next episode is a little more simpler than this video which would probably be easier to complete. But yeah 2017 is what its lookin lol Just because i have commitments to a feature film I'm currently in post production for as well.

well i have the ekimu figure now so i flashback isn't out of the question. And yeah I've just spend this whole year working on an 80s cop comedy set here in Australia. And its what's taken up all my time and its amazing to actually have OKOTO ORIGINS released cuz i had zero time to work on it.
