@@freekfabricius78 I heard from him as recently as October 2020. It sounds like his situation is still pretty fragile. He's had one hard knock after another, but I'm glad to hear he's still alive, kicking, and hungry to create.
@@dabulls1g poor dude lost his apartment, got burgled and lost some hard drives and his cubase dongle, got kicked out of his temporary place, couch hopped a bit, lost a couple jobs... Sounds like an avalanche of problems for the past few years. He also bit off a bit more than could chew with his MNLTH102 tape series right before all these troubles hit which only exacerbated issues. Dave's awesome and I love him and I feel for him and I hope things can get turned around because we're all poorer for missing his music.
did yr vinyl melt? or is that a clever and intentional way of communicating a rather complex idea regarding the nature of time? or maybe i'm just thinking about shit too much again? in any case, this ep contains an immensely beautiful collection of sounds.
@@hippisarecool cheers I'm not much of a synth head, I was also being a bit generous, while I love this track the baseline is very similar to redlof b and I assume was inspired by it.
U know ol' boy done ate his brother in da womb, its called a parasitic twin, look it up. He got his dead twins soul stuck inside him, thats how he farts out the best musics. Window licker is about a time he spilled Cornish Vodka all over his window sill, it was supposed to be spelled WindowLiquor. Funny story, he didn't want it to goto waste, so he started licking the window.
+Grinphox electronic music has so many subgenres ffs. discovered this song this song because youtube suggested it to me while i was listening to afx. i was thinking it was underground idm stuff
on a really basic level, IDM is basically acid music with intricately arranged drum and bass samples. in aphex's case, with a lot of weird experimental sounds and patterns as well. people who jump on the IDM train (like myself) eventually find out about acid. i love both styles tbh
***** it's a style of music. kind of a blanket term for a while bunch of different styles actually. look up Mt. Saint Michel + St. Michaels Mount, it's a pretty good track, on the faster side of the idm spectrum
Less electronics would be better. Maybe some sax like that Fleetwood Mac song. Something Street. Cant remember its name but its good. Alot better than this. I do like snap though, mainly for their dancing
Like i wrote, i listen to snap, and fabrice morvan. I no what techtronic music is, and im not dumb neither but sometimes its just too electronic. Also alot of tracks have way to much enphasis on the drums also.
