Trompette solo... quel régale...et toujours cette basse baryton hyper formidable !!! Trompetensolo ... was für ein Vergnügen ... und trotzdem dieser super tolle Baritonbass !!!
I've heard a couple different recordings of this piece, and they each have a different feel which is astounding to me! Harry James is a clear Big Band jazz style, I heard another of a symphonic style player where you could very much tell their background. Mnozil easily feels like some sort of powerhouse jack of all trades. They know they're vetted by their history, so playing something like this to their own unique sound doesn't come off as "trying to be different" it's more... "Mnozil doing their thing"
