Sir, very well explained and very good techniques followed. Need your help here.. I randomly tried 146 × 126,iam getting a different answer with this technique to the calculator. Would it be possible to show us this..as we don't know where we getting the logic wrong, our answer with the logic is 17856. Calculator answer is 18396. Please your intelligence is needed. Will get correct answer 146. +46 126. +26 (146+26=172) 46×26=1196 Now apply balancing method. Because right side part answer should in 2 digits From 1196= 96 will be there. 11 carry forward to left side answer. 11+2=13 (__ _ 396) 1+7=8 (_ 8396) Finally 18496 is the answer

This numbers are far from base. Hence it is little difficult to do by this method for beginners. You should be able to calculate 66*45 [ 66 complementary of 34 for 100. i.e 66 = 100-34). Then only this method will be easy. Otherwise go for Cross Multiplication Method which is relatively easy.
