For the record, Mo Mo, a sanatorium can be used as an alternate name for an insane asylum. However, it is often synonymous with a spa or fancy hotel with medical amenities where people go for vacation/to recover from illness. In the context of Until Dawn, 'sanatorium' is actually incorporated in both senses of the word, as I found out when watching through this game with PeachApricorn's play through and an all items/secrets, everyone lives play through in 2016. I am revisiting this game after watching through several playthroughs of its new brother game Man of Medan, jacksepticeye for single player and CaRtOoNz for multiplayer, and an 'all items/secrets' video for good measure to get the full game's meta-fictive documentation. I can tell you, the definitive experience is done in multiplayer mode, and from what I've read from players' responses, online multiplayer is better suited to playing certain spots in the timeline of events. Until Dawn has the better customizable "scare experience" and coherent game lore, but Man of Medan has better character models and overall graphics... and a better "check-in" host with the Curator rather than Dr. Hill. And you know from seeing Markiplier play the game that Dr. Alan Hill is Josh's psychiatrist, and while mentioned in game when you find Josh's cell phone as Sam, he is NOT actually there in the events of the story. Trippy, right?
She says it would be a cool prank if we made your sister make out with Mike but Josh and Beth weren't in on it. Chris, Sam, Josh, and Beth were not in on the prank. The rest of them were though.
