The baby GS did very well. I'm almost finished wearing out the factory Metzler Tourance tires at around 8000 miles. I'll probably replace them with Shinko 804/805 tires or Kenda Big Block tires. Then I can do cool stuff like this on my baby GS. These videos definitely have me wanting to do more off road moto camping adventures. Thank you for sharing.
That must have been difficult. I mountain bike as well and don’t think I could do it! It was challenging on a motorcycle. Thank you for watching stay tuned for future episodes!
That was intense! Thanks for sharing. My friend did the White Rim Trail a couple of days ago on his DR650. Then he sent some even more gorgeous pictures from Grand Staircase and Escalante National Monument. He's trying to decide if he's going to Bryce Canyon, the Bonneville Salt Flats, or if he's going to get back on the Trans America Trail and head west.
@@Sasqmoto - The Trans America Trail is all things to all people. Some people only do the paved portions. Others do paved, gravel and dirt roads. Others mostly use the back roads to get to the challenging off road sections they want to do. The TAT is more of an idea, concept or personal journey than it is a specific route. The creator, Sam Correro, has said as much. The hard parts look a lot like this video and even a bit more difficult. The hardest parts are good on a dirt bike, but probably not solo. Some sections have the choice of a road route, easier off road or difficult off road. My buddy did the eastern portion of the TAT last summer and fell on Engineer Pass in Colorado. He broke his fibula. He flew back, had surgery to install a titanium plate, and recently flew back to Albuquerque to resume his TAT journey west, sans snowy mountain passes. He's sending me daily updates via cell calls and text messaged photos and video. He's having a great time. I'm happy for him but also very jealous. Like these videos, his daily updates are inspirational.
@@Sasqmoto yes I know everything is over regulated it’s a small wonder we are still allowed to to have any kind of fun , I am glad to have experienced all that I have as I believe many will give up their freedom for a false sense of security. History repeats my friend. Please keep sharing and happy travels to you 💋
