Hi JazzMentlists! Once again, thanks for tuning in! If you want to skip to my version of this tune, fast forward to time stamp 8:20. I play the head and a couple of choruses. But do try this tune. It's really fun to play. As always, your comments help me choose what tutorials to produce next, so don't hesitate to let me know below. Don't forget to download the PDF and backing track. Link is in the description. Musically yours, - Paul Tobey
Thank you for this video I like very much your feeling when you play the piano. May I ask you what is the soft and hard you use to make your backing tracks ? Musically yours-Hubert
@@hubertambrois-geniecivil5275 Not sure what you mean by soft and hard to make backing tracks? Normally I equate this with soft skills and hard skill, but that doens't really make sense. Can you clarify?
@@ibcanadagroup To make backing tracks I use the "Band in a box" soft mith my laptop. Is it the same for you ? Perhaps you use a software that is better for which I don't know. I hope you'll understand my question
I just want to tell you how overwhelmed with joy I am when watching your videos ! Not only are they educational, but they reveal all the licks and tricks I'm running after since my younger days. And it is all thanks to you and your talent that I'm now able to play the right chords for such great songs as Moanin'. Your page is a gift for the likes of me who are passionate of music and piano. I'm so glad that I found it. Many many thanks from France.
I'm so happy to read this message 😁. It's a huge amount of work to put these tutorials together. So it makes me happy to hear they are helping. Merci beaucoup du Canada 🎶🤗
Great lesson. I've been messing around with this tune for years, and definitely picked up a couple of tweaks I can incorporate into my version. Something I often do with this tune is play the second 8 an octave higher for variety.
