Suge would do things like attempt to extort Diddy and Master P, and muscle other executives like Easy E, and forcing rappers into and out of contracts like Vanilla Ice. He was basically insisting other label executives pay him a tax to operate in the music industry. He didn’t want to simply rise and prosper professionally. Every successful label in the industry had to worry about him plotting to take their money, their artists, or both, but not thru negotiations and business expertise, simply by breaking every rule and criminal law applicable
