One fun thing little fact is that Takenaka is the guy that leaves the club in season 1. So you did meet him back in season one for roughly 2 seconds of him running out of the club causing the whole fiasco of the telepathy club trying to recruit Mob to prevent them from shutting down.
I am going to be honest. YES. The finale is one of the best episodes. But the next episode, episode 8 is also one of the best in the series. The animation is unreal
The one telepath leaving the club leading into the club connecting with Mob, the second most powerful psychic in the world, who then passes on the club to join the Swole Bros. Telepathy Club can't keep a real one for shit 😂
There's a pretty solid payoff to our boy Teru soon, this season is not really his arc though, S1 had him re-examine his life and S2 had him being a positive influence with friends and being his best self. It's hard to go on from there with him having a solid place in the world that's good for him and good for everyone around him. I will also say, Mob gets ended well and more importantly, Shigeo Kageyama finishes well.
The last episode and the ending of the entire series is amongst the best in history of anime and is probably the greatest achievement of modern anime in this decade.
Ange is really hitting the nail on the head when it comes to the character stories and stuff, that’s the true art when it comes to Mob Psycho and I’m glad he’s addressing it
