My brother has a pretty interesting story about a swamp ape down here in northern Florida. Him and his regiment used to train in the woods and a huge falling tree log was thrown at them from 50 feet away

thanks. someday I may do a show on the most "erudite" former wiseguys who have a RU-vid channel. not necessarily the most viewers or subscribers. so far francese has a lock on #1 after that there's a lot of guys. I haven't seen them all yet, that guy Mikey Scars makes a strong bid for#2. factors include knowledge, diction, how you present yourself, appearance, charisma, self respect, could this person go before the board of directors at Microsoft without embarrassing himself even though he was a former wiseguy, does he still think/act like he's a wiseguy, would he be tossing f-bombs all over the place like a street thugs, etc In other words, someone who of they had stayed straight could have been a legitimate business man.

Some outsiders to the life really dont realize that there are many well-read street guys. That could have went a different route and done well for themselves. But chose to go in a bad direction, which most likely came back to bite them in some way. As intelligent as some street guys are. It all comes down to the day you make that choice that sets the tone to your journey. If you dont end up dead , the day does come if your intelligent or not. That you in fact made a very bad choice.

yes, I must of read over a 100 books written by wiseguys. one of them said that John Gotti was tested in school to have a 140 IQ. that's qualifies for the MENSA society as the avg IQ is 100. I'm sure that there were lots of intelligent guys who in that environment figured, better to join em and survive. It takes inner strength to say no, just like drugs.
