My parents put an addition on our mobile home growing up...that was back in 1993-94 and they are still so happy they made that choice.

Some of my parents friends built an addition on their mobile home they added two bedrooms and it's such a cute trailer they have had it since before I was born and it still looks exactly the same . my family is in construction as well so it will be a project we can do on our own so I'll save a ton of money on it too 👏

I found your channel today. You are a joy to watch and smart beyond your years. Ten years ago I bought a repossessed mobile home and moved to the country. After paying it off I have been slowly redoing everything. I plan to add an addition next year. I love knowing that my house is paid for and nobody can come take it away. Good luck to you. Wise beyond your years! We decided to stay where we are and pay more towards the principal and we will be mortgage free by 45! We are 35 now! No debt or small debt is better than house poor! 😘🥰

Smart decision on the house. You can work on your credit while paying off the trailer/land then you could build your own house on the land. Like you said so many options.

Girl I’m excited for you! That’s big! As long as you have a roof over your head, that is what matters. ☺️ You will own your place that’s huge! We are moving to our mobile home in June and we are excited to own our home. It’s a 89’. And we had some people disappointed and saying why a trailer. But you know what we are happy and that’s all that matters. At least we won’t be struggling with trying to pay for a big house. And it’s our first home so no need to get a big ole house. Lol Cant wait to see what you have coming up. God Bless! ❤️

Very smart financial decision on purchasing an more affordable home. Because I didn't fall into the I have to have a big gorgeous house I was able to retire at 54 with my home paid off and no debt.

Girl there's no house out there that could possibly feel like home as much as my little trailer does . Idk if its because my babies were brought to the property as babies or if this is just the place god wants me to be but I can't seem to let it go 💕 I'll take that feeling over a new big house any day . I watch people on yt buying bigger and better, and that's wonderful for them, but I can't relate. I'm happy where I am. It's home. Sometimes I find myself comparing, but my home is really just fine and meets our needs. I'm so happy I found your channel.

Smart decision! The new homes are so nice and we would also like to upgrade from our older double wide (it needs alot of repairs), but it doesnt make sense financially because we still have 45k mortgage on our current home and land. You have made your home SO nice and you help to inspire me to make my home nicer. Sounds like you all are on the right track. You are a sweet wife and momma. Love your videos. ❤

Remember your story is our story . We got a smaller home in a really nice area where most of the people have large homes. Like you said I do not want to pay for 30 yrs. Plus the size is great for us we have 6 people in a 1148 sqft house right now and we dont feel crowded. If in the future you get a bigger house so be it. Being content and enjoying what you have needs to be taught. I am happy for you and your family!

You are so wise for such a young age...I applaud you. Yes, it is exciting to think where you'll be in 5-10 years; debt free! I had an idea for your counters. We used to live in a mobile home and had great success with laminating the counter tops...they looked brand new! It was kind of a simple process...it was years ago, but it involved applying a laminate glue, rolling the laminate with a special rolling tool, and applying heat. We got gorgeous results! Just something to look into, if you're interested.

Congratulations! I think you all are very wise to do this option. I decided to purchase a smaller mobile home when I bought mine as well. I would have loved to have purchased the upgraded model but my payment would have went up several hundred dollars a month over a period of 30 years... 3 years later now and so thankful I decided that option.

Congratulations! l admire you for being so wise at your age there are people out here that do not and never will own anything. As for those who judge a person for living in a mobile home l wouldn't worry for they are the losers. Its not about the house or its size for a house is made of lumber, but a home is made of love and that's what you've done. I live in a big house with rooms not being used and from what l am seeing with you and other mobile home owners l think l will buy land and make a mobile home a place to call home, and l could less what others think!

My bestfriend and her husband have the same mobile as you have and they added on an addition and are very happy with it. They paid off their mobile home in their early 30's 👍 So they are now mortgage free. Congrats to the both of you!

Girl you are so smart love it! I am the same way we only have a 1,000 sq foot house I love it less to clean, heat and cool because at the end of the day we don’t need much and would rather use money on other things! Heck I would live in a camper. The thing about a big house to me is a waste of space you will never see each other because the house it too big lol you go girl❤️❤️💕

Thank you 💕 ive once lived in a big 1500+ sqft home with just my husband before we had kids and it was rediculous lol its all exciting at first but the big got old and when we found out i was pregnant with my daughter we downsized to an old trailer that my husband and I had to clean up and make it liveable it was in bad shape it was a huge adjustment forsure but we ended up living there for 3 years and moved into this place almost two years ago and basically did the same thing all over Again .i wish I would have filmed at my old place that place is tiny and it looked so cute I actually filmed the living room and kitchen it like the first video on my channel if you wanna see it . Sorry I know that was a lot lol
