Just found this channel (likely recommended after watching several hundred of AC's uploads). Beautifully produced and really like the explanation of what you were doing along the way. I'll always subscribe to channels featuring quality 4k footage.
Great video, beautiful farm land and the fair was a bonus,i would love to see a tiny house compition,i bet your dad would be hard to out do,us older men have experience on our side ha ha,looking forward to more.
This was the MAY.... OR..... MAY NOT.....BUT........PROBABLY WILL..... video......Loved it!!! Definitely getting better at the video narration Jessie......I'm liking your channel more and more. Keep up the good work Brother.
Sounds just like Andrews truck pulling up. Love the similarity between your two channels. Both do great work, and are worthy of everyone that follows you.
Great job Jesse. You really have your act together and know what you're doing. I real;y should have watched your entire video rather than make an unfair comment to you after only watching a couple minutes. I apologize again for coming off as a fool about the mask. As you were and please carry on. Thank you for sharing. Sonny (CT)
Great video I always enjoy them. I'm finishing up a 12k trailer myself from a mobile home frame. Its 16ft long and I have two dexter axles. Its been a PITA I should have just bought a trailer already made but no pain no gain right! i'm shooting some footage of the stuff i do, what editing software do you use?
Dangerous buggers ! Yeah I was following this trailer loader with steel and it hit a bump then this 6 ft tree trunk came flying out and went straight through my brand new cars grill !!!
Hey Jesse, I live in Ky and love your videos. If you can say. How do you charge for a mobile home demo. You mention a dumpster. Will a 20 yard one hold the material from that trailer.
My dump truck will hold 10 yards heaped up. my dump trailer will hold about 14 yards heaped up, and sits lower. 40 yard dumpsters here are like $800..but unless you fill it up with real heavy stuff, you can spend much less on the dump charges if you bring it yourself. I might have 40 yards from a trailer but it might only be 3 tons = $300 instead of 800. I charged 5k for this job
I'd like to have that International as a daily drive. Make a front bumper out of 16 inch channel and write "I dare ya' " on it. I'd use it for occasional trips into Memphis. lol
where i live i think the trailer park they are on a polls but any other place here where the home and land is owned by the same person the meter is on the home like any other house, thats how my double wide is, meter is on the side.
actually there is a disconnect right under the meter "same box" that can be locked, then inside i have your typical breaker box with its own main breaker. but i think i have also seen houses around with the same long box.
Up your drone game skydio 2 is coming out it has terrain aviodance aka trees and a follow, orbiting modes while in follow and compact size at $1000 price piont with remotes and cellphone control
If you want to believe in some eastern tn / ky folk lore,my grandmother used to tell us that if a butterfly landed on you it was a sign of good luck to come.
Scrap the frames. The are NOT good for a tiny house. Not at all... They are built to take a home down the road 1 time. Not for real travel. If you are going to build a tiny, the BEST thing you can do is start with a fantastic purpose built tiny house trailer... Several trailer companies making them already and they have engineered them to the hilt.... It makes no sense to waste time and money building on a shitty frame like those...
tearing down a trailer is messy and boring, so timelapse is necessary to keep peoples attention. when you use timelapse, you dont have any sound. No body wants to hear no sound, so what other choice is there?
It seems alot of people like that voice over way of doing it. That red poppy ranch guy speeds thru every video and talks over it and people fall for it.
Try making a video with timelapse and no music, and see if anybody will watch it for more than 30 seconds, its always going to be a debate, but the majority like the music to be there
i just set fire to them when there in a good place like that, just wait for a good rain storm and 5 gallons of colored fuel and its gone in 10 min.. just did one of my own, then later i will clean up the scrap meatal, and hall it in.. you should have just throw 4 wheels on and towed it home,, .. iv picked up many like that, for mobile turckey an chicken shalters, the frames are not really good for anything, i dont know what your codes are there for under ground hydro, here you cant go more then 250 feet from the trasformer pole to the meter pole, then no more then 250 from meter to building, you can go farther with high voltage from the main roade pole to your transformer but thats big bucks, i ran 2 poles of UCR ALUMINUM for my high voltage to my transformer / 400 amp double lug 400 amp meter base, 1800 feet, 14,500 volts, over head, so i could feed 200 to house and 200 amp to shop under ground, one is 192 feet under ground an shop line is 247 feet from transformer/meter pole, i put everything in my self..
its good to hear from you Arnold, havent heard from you in a while. I hope to do some service installation videos soon, I know I will atleast do the service for the cabin this year, sounds like you are just like me and Andrew, and do whatever you need to do to keep things moving without hiring a bunch of subs.
@@jmuller86 yes i do every thing my self, if i dont know how i just get into it and get it done some how, none of my stuff ever sees a shop or contractor unless its warranty, been that way my whole 58 years,, i have seen all your videos, but just watch and read the comments..// take care..
Very very simular to a Andrew vid. I mean I know its hard to film anything that doesnt look like a Andrew video but trailer teardown just like hiz. Music way more inspirational than the work being done lol. Ehhh. Im not sure. Try to develop a style that is anything diffrent and I would consider watching more.
I try more than anything else to have a different style than him, but short of acting like somebody i'm not, it always comes out very similar. I notice other channels have alot of joking around, alot of complaining, alot of acting crazy, but thats not me. I am a pretty serious kind of guy who takes work very serious. I live right down the road from him, am the same age as him, have a similar family structure to him, do the same work as him and also have a serious interest in filming, so its hard to set us apart. I think I do have a more dreamy style editing, and I like to time the music to scene changes etc, those things do set me apart some
@@precisionfilms3777 yea its a good machine, It had alot of issues from neglect on the previous owners part, but once those were resolved its been great
I would'nt worry about it man, for a trailer tear down the movie was good. In my opinion i think you need to talk in to camery a little more showing your face, not alot more but little bit more. People feel more conected that way.
another satisfying mobile home demo, looked like a haven for wasps and snakes cleaned up and ready for a container castle or cabin lol! Stay safe Jesse
Nice video Jesse. Always like seeing the demo videos and the JD earning its keep. Your and Andrews videos of the area make me want to move back there, I grew up across the river from you guys near Hudson off route 82. My family business still has a display and booth at the Dutchess county fair. Keep up the great work and looking forward to many more videos.
You could still make a trailer out of it. 1/4 inch plate steel down the outside to box it in and it will hold more weight than you could imagine. Tripple 7000 pound axles and use the rest of the steel for the up rights of a gooseneck and extra cross members. Shit if your nervous put a torque tube in it. Shit would haul a house.
Hi Jesse, When I grew up there in West Shokan(Ulster County) , every year we went to the Dutchess County Fair. My family Lived up there from 1967-1984. My parents kept the house up there until 2003. Now we are in Florida.
like you said at the end, the frames are engineered to go with a completed house on top to prevent bending. They are more helper frame rails then anything
I have a single wide to destruct. It has roofing, the original looking stuff, white sheet type, with probably the white liquid roof goop added, 60 year old MH. The roof has wrinkles and is airy like poor fitted carpet. It has been determined to be Haz-Mat with asbestos. I have obtained permits to dispose of the haz mats. My question is Can I remove that roof with roofing shovels, or is it all stuck to the wood underneath? My plan, and per disposal application is to bag it all up in small quantities. Does anyone have any experience with this and what would be your recommendations. Thank you, today is 1/30/2023.
I am not too sure about that situation but it sounds like have the ambition to get it done by yourself. Would probably be very expensive to hire somebody, they make too big of a deal out of it. Just wear the right protection and go at it. I would cut across it with a skill saw every couple feet and rip out big chunks at a time, get them on the ground and then sort them out and bag
It’s interesting that the axe are /were still underneath out here in nw they took them out and sold them That’s a great idea using themas tiny house frames
