We have a small mobile splitting job to do. Since it's less that 2 cords I'm not going to pack the conveyor up on the Eastonmade 22-28. I sure will miss that pullback arm! The Wolfredge pro 28C is going on this road trip.

Good morning Dick good video. I like the idea of towing the splitter around to peoples homes and processing their firewood for them right there on site.
I just had a customer that I delivered to want me to come process some tree service cut logs in his yard. I told him with two guys it would be $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum
Hi Joe. I charge $100/hr with two men. I also have a 2 hour minimum. I’ve mentioned in other comments that is probably a bit low. On the other hand, that job took us 2.5 hours, and after labor cost and overhead it was still profitable.
Thanks Jack. Like I said in the video, if it was a larger job I'd take the Eastonmade. For a small job like this it just made sense to go with the Wolfe Ridge.
Hello OGF, Using the Wolf took some effort, but I bet the last p[iece you split would have been a real challange for the EastonMade, great work from a couple of well seasoned Pro's.

I like watching you use that splitter more than the other one. I ended up getting one just like yours except gunmetal gray and I put your sticker on it and a magnetic drink holder. After waiting for 10 months on the allwood. I couldn’t wait any longer. Chris Wolf told me I could have it by Christmas and made good with his word.
Hey Jeff. The Wolfe Ridge is a great machine. The Eastonmade 22-28 with box wedge and attached conveyor takes my production to a different level. With the 22-28 I can really pump the wood out with minimum physical effort.

I’d love to do some mobile splitting. My little Wallenstein has a Highway kit with lights etc but the tires and axle don’t make a haul feasible, would have to put it on a trailer for longer distances.

I see ya broke out the wolf ridge out seemed to do fine Chris does have box wedges for his splitters make me jealous having both them ( wolf ridge and eastonmade splitters) I’m not no spring chicken myself I need to invest in one
Hi Joe. Wolfe Ridge doesn’t offer a box wedge for the 28C. The Eastonmade 22-28 adjustable height box wedge is a perfect fit for the wood i deal with. I can tell you, the box wedge and pullback arm allow me to produce wood like I could 50 years ago!
Nice job guys. You and back 40 dug out the wolf ridge today. I think I probably order that splitter in 35 ton model. Wish they had the wedge design Eastonmade does. One good thing there lot easier to change being that there lighter. Keep up the good work.
Funny Dan... I was thinking the same thing when I saw Dan's video. Wolfe Ridge 35C is a good choices but check all your options. Take a look at the Eastonmade 12-22. You can't go wrong with either one.
@@oldguyfirewood I think I need more power then the 12-22. The 22-27 out my budget. I got box store splitter now. Anything be better. My back needs a log lift. I work full time just do wood as a hobby. With my dad being gone maybe I sell the wood I always got in for him. Normally do 4 or so for myself and 8 for him. So I like to see him if I can double that.
Can always up grade the wolfridge with the their boxwedge and arm. Play your cards right you might be able to get them to upgrade it or even get their new vertical

Thanks for watching Anthony. We have predominantly red oak around me and i sometimes automatically classify oak as “red oak”. In fact, this was white oak. My mistake.
