Mobile Stand for a Bandsaw 

You Rock Big Lou! Made mine with maple ply using your free plans. Widened it to 14 inches on the inside shelves and still squeezed it out of the 1/2 sheet and added a door. Great idea and great video. I too topped it off with a 3061 and the fit was perfect. Used swivel and roll locking caster set and she's rock solid. Thanks again and of course, I subbed and liked!!

It's a little more of a pain to have to stop and do it another way, but at least it wasn't a permanent pain...Awesome project brother and it's really cool of you to offer the cut list for free to people. Nice build overall. One big flaw is in the placement of the top and bottom. You should have the sides between the top and bottom, not the other way around. This would allow for the top to place the load on the sides and the sides to place the load on the bottom. You have it so the load is being supported by screws, nails and glue.

Hi Lou I made a similar stand for my woodfast bandsaw With 2 fixed wheels & 2 rotating locking castors I too am concerned about the stability when moving in my Garage I’m thinking about redoing the stand with a wider base Hoping to make it more stable

Hello there Big Lou.. Loved watching this video bro. Ur funny as well as being good at Woodworking. I love that stand and it's given me some great ideas for a stand I need to build for a Bench drill & jointer/thicknesser as well. They're seperate. It's not some Hybrid tool or owt like that bro.. Sorry I tried to be funny there. That stand is a really well put together piece. I bought me a nice pocket hole jig from China which I've been dying to try out so this is perfect for that and I have 2 full sheets of Plywood just sitting there in my shop (Shop???? It's a garage but it's my garage/Shop) gathering dust for the past 4/5 months.. I really need to get motivated. Jesus they've been sat there for 4/5 months???? Christ Ima lazy bastd! Hi Lou - at the end of the video you mentioned being concerned about stability with the wheels, now that you have had it for a bit have you been happy with the build and the stability, anything that you would change if you built it again?

So three years later how is your stand holding up? Did you make any modifications?

I am lookin at the plans and you made it wrong from the plans on the video. The top and bottom are inlayed and don’t lay over the side sheets.
