Wish I had thought of it. I have two tire machines/both manual. One for car tires, one for motorcycle tires. The hardest thing is getting my machines to hold still. I’ve pulled the anchors out of the floor that didn’t hold.. I tried mounting my machine to long 2x12s That I could move out of my way because I did not want to machine permanently mounted to the floor in my way. I even bought large J bolts and tried bolting my machine to the sewer grate at the end of my driveway in the street. I ended up pulling the sewer grate right out of the manhole trying to mount tires manually. I don’t have to mount my old coats tire machine to my trucks trailer hitch completely. I can just have a bar coming out of the trailer hitch, that attaches to my tire machine to hold it still. I would want a little bit more space than this guy has between my truck and the action.Great idea
Man, you got that first bead like a BOSS! I always thought intermittent use stuff like tire changers should either be set up for use in a hitch receiver or on a separate quick attach loader bucket. Your video confirms it.
If you had of mounted the head at a slight angle away from the truck it would make it a lot easier . The first bead is easy because the top bead can flex inwards allowing the bottom bead to expand easier .
The best tire changing tool thanks for uploading this repair video. That is what i was looking how to mount a tire changer on a Van. GMC SAVANA 2500 2010 Great video thanks again.
That's awesome! You make it look so easy. I just bought a HF manual tire changer and have a hell of a time mounting tires. You definetley have a good technique I have yet to master. Good work!
