I have never used an electrical scooter excerpt at a museum here in Ottawa. It was life changing and I hope to buy one in the near future for use here in Ottawa. Thus, I am a novice. I have no ideas of the types.
I think many of the same people that ran riot on hired mopeds in the 1970’s and 80’s are now running riot on these things 😂 I haven’t seen many riding them there who actually need them. Not a very flattering backdrop of Benidorm to this video from around 13:45 until the end.
@@BenidormbyAna just an observation not a criticism, that never was the prettiest spot in town. Good information for those who need or want a mobility scooter. This video brings back memories of a guy I spoke to in the Beer house. He was a resident of the Rincon de Loix who regretted his time wasted riding a mobility scooter because he suffered a stroke and now has no alternative than to ride one. He told me his favourite pastime was to walk the full length of the esplanade of the Levante beach and back, and he would give anything to have done that walk instead of riding the scooter, and give even more to be able to do the walk now. Makes one think.

get the mobility scooters regulated it should be meant for people with disabilities only if you can prove you have a genuine disability like a letter off your doctor and hospital and do a half day driving test like the CBT motorbike test in the uk because a lot of people are just using them because they are too lazy to walk or dunking idiots are using them.
How about you don’t judge by appearances?? You have no idea what everyone is going through. Saying that they are lazy is ableism. What you suggest would mean that those of us who need scooters to get out of the house would find nothing but problems (paperwork, redtape, etc) to use a scooter. They should be available without restriction to anyone who needs one. Stop complaining and be thankful you don’t need one yet!
