Have you ever wondered what happened to Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends in Knothole after Eggman's defeat? Well, 25 years later, Sonic and Sally are married and are king and queen of Mobius, with kids of their own, and everyone is happy. However, due to wacky goings-on in the space-time continuum, King Sonic must risk everything to save the world as we know it! He succeeds, but at a hefty price, writing himself out of existence for a time.
The time is now. In Sonic's absence, Sally has married Shadow, making him king and causing him to rule with an iron fist. Sonic and Sally's children are no more, and Sonic finds himself completely homeless and alone. Now, it's up to him to set things right. Teaming up with his old friend Miles "Tails" Prower, and Lara-Su, daughter of Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic must stand up to King Shadow, take back the throne, and set things right! Will he succeed?

@@FallenHalfWingedWolf He only remembers bits and pieces of the old timeline, and Lien-da filled the rest of the holes in herself to cement his trust in her and her place as his partner. That's always been *my* headcanon anyway. Never found out the *real* reason myself. Maybe they did in the form of an answer to a fan letter or something and I just never heard of it?

@@WhiteFireTheDragon According to Ian Flynn, his editor ordered him to make Shadow the villain of the story. That may be the best explanation we can expect.

Wow! This comic dub has pretty great voice acting in it. I really like the music and sound effects choice for the comic dub. And overall the story was interesting to watch as well.

Just wondering why in some sonic Archie comics lien das hands are the same color as her cloths (IE why dose lien da have gloves) and in other comic's her hands our the same color as her red fur

1:42 I’m pretty sure the order is supposed to be “You planned this all along?” “Of course we did, did you really think I’d arrest you all for real?” “Me? Sure. Miles and Lara-Su? Nah.” As in, Sonic figured Knuckles would love the chance to arrest his old rival, but wouldn’t do that to the others Nice dub, though

If possible I think someone should rewrite 25 years later. Not to change it, but to rather expand it. It’s way too short and the plot is rushed. And regardless of how well Lara-Su is trained Shadow shouldn’t have gone down so easily or Sonic for that matter.

Yeah, considering that this was meant to be the resolution of a year-long epic (albeit published two years after the rest of the story), it was far too rushed and anticlimactic in my opinion. Personally, I think Sonic and Lara-Su should have had to team up to take down Shadow--that way, at least no one would have ended up looking like a weakling.

if the idea was not bad, the problem would be the execution of it, if it had been to see Amy in this type of AU also the detail of knuckles adapting to the parental role is cute too

Sally makes more sense for Archie Sonic. Supposedly writer Ian Flynn had other plans for Amy, but they haven't been published as of yet.

Perhaps your typical character hating comment needs to go in the trash. Yk I'll let you in on a secret. The sonamy fans are heavily despised by all outside corners of the fandom that have had the displeasure of meeting the toxic side of them. Not just sally.. blaze ,silver and shadow fans even don't like your side of the fanbase when they say a character should go in the trash
