The cake is very delicious but it seems like the measurement for the filling is not enough. I spread a very thin layer only. In the video, looks like it's more than 150ml of whipping cream?
I just picked up a mocha roll cake at my local Japanese village and all although it's good as far as the cake texture and the flavor is light but I don't mind it, what I do mind is the creme... its so paper thin or nonexistent I actually unroll a couple to see if there's any! I'll like to have one with more than a paper thin layer of worth of creme.
The thin layer or skin on the roll sticks to the parchment paper. How did you handle this. It's seems like your finished product didn't have that thin layer?
