This is an excellent format! WIth eXtreme Gammon showing on the side. Thank you Mochy! What I do is I stop the video immediately after every dice throw. Then I figure out what my play would have been before I start the video rolling again to see what the player did and what eXtreme Gammon has to say about it. Very useful for improving one's game!
Mochy, above all, your patients is what impresses me the most. You get knocked back often at the start of a game, elevating your pip but not elevating your blood pressure. Stone cold. Thank you!
@@bgmochy "I only played so well because I got lucky" - World champion, UBC Champion, highest rated player of all time. No need to be so humble, you aced it! Keep up the great work!
This was a very entertaining match thank you for posting. I think he made some critical errors to avoid gammon in the final two games. Also the loose hit on the 1 point in the last game right before Mochy rolled double 5 was an amazing move. Hope to see more from this tournament because it seems like Mochy played nearly perfect.
@@bgmochy I agree! That is precisely why I find it interesting. We are constantly refining our knowledge, but that process is not a straight line. I would not make some of the errors that you make, just as a beginner does not make some of the errors that I make.
It's so frustrating when the board is out of focus and you can't read the dice....it takes all the enjoyment and learning potential out of the equation.
1 hour and 30 mins i'l thinkin what BG needs in new rules to stop dispersion (luck)... but from this point 1:30:03 to the end, sry me Simon but u was outplayed... close to the end luck(joker) and lost equity of both players summary was kinda equal and more often Simons mistakes cost him a points. this match is example of how low pr professionals can thinkin like a robots 2 hours straight and this pay off. good match!
The layout, hinges, locks and handle look exactly like an Aries Professional Leather backgammon board. I can't find this particular colour combination anywhere though. And the checkers might be non-standard.
Simon, your mask has unusual character. The hardest thing is to not touch your face with your hands. You don't know how often you do it until your conscious of trying not to do it. One of the hardest things I had to train myself not to do during the pandemic.
I don't see anything special in their game...Once you learn how to play the dice...the rest is just luck for the winner...i don't see any skills either...maybe if beaver feature would be involved...
