​​@@upsc_wj If this is the sample of questions asked in the Interviews then it borders on almost ridiculous-- just repeating what's been learnt by rote & repeated practice. Doesn't explore the competencies, attributes & many other things that an individual is needed to bring to the job. Plus this showcases an outdated method of interviewing .

Had this been the case there wouldn't have been lateral hirings from private counterparts or outsourcing to firms. While there may be more applicants the quality still seems to be questionable.
