Will have to say this that an interview is not only to test the candidate but to test the manager as well. Who asks weather u will work without pay on weekends. Where's the work pike balance? Would never work in this toxic environment for sure even though i desperately need a job(still i am about to get an offer letter on my own terms)

Family background is not considered as personal questions, They would definitely like to know where do you come from, to know whether you culturally fit in their company. Family background reveals a lot about a candidate. 🙂

Maam due to some major problem I missed the test which was scheduled at 26 Jan to 28 jan . I mailed them the same. They replied on the same day that if you have missed the test we shall send you the test link again after 7 days time but it's been more that 8 days will they send the link or should mail them.

What is the relevance of asking the candidate's family background? It is a very bizarre thing to ask and to be honest quite intrusive

Asking about family background is not wrong to a certain extent until it defies anything which hurts your sentiment. It’s a way to strike conversation in few cases don’t feel offended if recruiter ask you about family background it should be considered as open ended question and you should be able to portray the same in positive way. Though it’s completely wrong to make any decision for an employer based on family background about someone’s candidature. They want to know about your commitment towards job and check your priorities
