It depends how long it was and if it was a full time or part time. However things like Peace Corps or TFI would be considered work experience. Your description is very vague to tell for sure.

In case of an IIMB Fellowship, it is hard to tell if it is more of a Research Project or Work Experience but in either case you should be able to put it down as work experience (unless you spend most of your time in a classroom setting) but it is OK to count job-training as work experience actually.
