This video can help prepare learners to interview for a job as a prep cook, highlighting key practices of a confident interviewee, such as a firm handshake and the presentation of the resume. It should be used in conjunction with other educational materials designed to prepare learners for interviewing.
Six common interview questions are asked in the video:
(1) Tell me about yourself
(2) What are your skills?
(3) What are your strengths?
(4) What are your weaknesses?
(5) Why do you want this job? and
(6) Do you have any questions for me?
Each time the interviewee answers a question, a box appears, categorizing the interviewee's responses. This helps the viewer to see the differences in language used when talking about skills, experience, qualifications, training, and so forth.
