Thanks so much for watching, I hope it was helpful! Click this google doc link to find out more about mock interviews with me :) docs.google.com/document/d/1yd2c9x5GwY4h_dpEbIAnahXcf1cbgR6E/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=108550279405128650455&rtpof=true&sd=true
This video is so so helpful, I love how you can have a go at the question yourself and get a detailed model response after and not just a mark scheme. Thank you for investing time to make this video!
Can you take some time to think before answering? Your answers seem so well organised and planned, and I could only replicate if I had like 30 seconds to think
That's a good question sue! The 4 pillars of medical ethics approach would still work. There is no right answer, as long as you can justify your stance you will be fine. Maybe I could do a video on this in the future who knows
So helpful! English is not my first language and I struggle to speak English effectively- do you have any advice on how I can improve my communication skills for the MMI?
You're welcome! I don't have many skills on English language skills but I did do a video on communication skills for interviews - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0s5etSfkTys.html
Thanks rohan, this was soo helpful. One question, when reading around nhs hot topics/health in BBC etc, would you say it's worth making notes around, for interviews?
Thank you! Yes it's worth making notes on health related topics for interview preparation, but keep them brief as you want to spend more time practicing mock interviews rather than making notes
For the first question. The NHS receives an amount kinda close to 150 billion pounds right. Even after that the NHS is underfunded. So when asked that question wouldnt u say that most of the money really goes into maintaining patient care, and everything else the NHS is doin for the whole year?
Great question, but there are different ways you can deliver that patient care, with different services and providers often at play. Basically it's quite complex and you're right the bottom line is that demand is greater than the supply of care currently unfortunately
I've done a few videos on interview preparation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3iRgnbsDn5Y.html; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CSyqEKKR9Ik.html. I also have some tips in my ebook for medicine applications: docs.google.com/document/d/11YOtBMt350IPiO7Mn_ht8v0Gu6zX8BIF/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=108550279405128650455&rtpof=true&sd=true
@@RohanYesudian Yes, but you have a kind of app (white background with black letters) with a passage. I was wondering if it was something that indicates you what to read each day over a year. If that is not the case, how do you select the reading for the day. Sorry for asking in detail, but I think is a good practice to start the day. Thank you, I.
