4:37 - A funny one, but just an interesting note that most of the Star Trek actors who also worked in Shakespeare (Patrick Stewart, John DeLancie, etc) considered Star Trek to be good practice.
"What are you watching me for? Look out the f**king window!" "Captain's log: 'Jst seen sum aliens; OMG, WTF, LOL, :)'..." Gina Yashere back at her best! :)
My entry: "It's going to be beautiful this week! 13% chance of rain all throughout, hardly a cloud in the sky, low humidity and an average temp of sixty-seven degrees. Perfect weather for staying inside eating Fritos and playing XBOX Live all day with the drapes closed.
Russel: It was rainin' cats and dogs last night...I should know I was throwin em off my roof~ Is it just me or is there a high chance that Russel had a slightly demented childhood XD still funny all the same.
my thinking on that is Frankie has become so central to the shows fabric that he has used his creative control to get out of doing that round from now on - he looks like he cudnt give a toss about the standup bit when it rolls around - but ur possibly right all the same
@Rokuyasama, you need to go to itunes and download the free podcast 'Frankie Boyle: Mock The Week musings'. It's where he tests out all the MTW stuff on a live audience. The original one for that joke was either going to be "I am the first gay captain of the Enterprise. Bum me up." or "I am the first gay captain of the Enterprise. Beam up me."
I had it too at first. I thought he was childish to the level that was just ridiculous rather than funny, but I've seen a lot more of him now and I've come to appreciate him. He's still not my favourite but when I see him come on a show that I was watching I do go: "Oh, hey that's Russell Howard!" instead of "Oh no, that's Russell Howard!" which it used to be XD It's something you just have to like I suppose (:
2 Things you wouldn't hear from a weather forecaster: There's a 50% chance of rain and a 100% chance I'm going to get pissed tonight. I hope the heavy rains don't uncover the bodies I buried.
I think I get why it was funny... One of the members of Star Trek could be acting all picky about the red & yellow tops. Still, sounded a little bit bleedin' obvious the first time I heard it. :|
