Setting up the plasma notcher is a bit or a project. So I only set that up when I have a bunch of tubes to notch. So I do that more at the beginning of the projects when cuts are pretty simple. Once I into it and working on one or two tubes at a time I use the notcher, or sometimes just a grinder.
Since the bug's roof is steel and you probably have to take it off tenths of times... What about a 12V electro-magnet suspended from a chain, coming down from a rail, mounted under the mezzanine roof? Or just hooks on ratchets, instead of the magnet. You're chiropractor will approve.
