To be fair, if you interpret the placement of the parentheses, it is totally fine to put them in various positions... So (2+3)*(6-5), 2+(3×6)-5 and so on... EDIT: For this precise reason BEDMAS, PODMAS, etc. is not good enough for maths and at the high level it can get even worse.

11x10 and 11x11 are trippy to me because they don’t follow the pattern and can’t be flipped. Like for 11x12 I would flip it and do 12 times 10 is 120 plus 12 is 132. But when I see 11x10 my brain always wants to go 111 because of the pattern and when I see 11x11 my brain always goes 22 no wait what how do I and then shuts down for a second. Its like it goes to look for a reference in order to do the math, but because I don’t know 11x10 or 11x12 off the top of my head it can’t find one and doesn’t know where to start so it just stops trying

that was my technique during 3rd grade to memorize the multiplication table lol

School doesn’t do a great job at teaching kids the tricks to doing mental math more easily. Can get the answer in a second just by doing 11x10=110 (just add a 0 to the 11) and then add 11 on top of that to get 121

In the school I studied in they made us memorize the power of numbers up to 25. I actually thought people memorized them too until this game came out.

Well 20 x 50 is easy though. It’s just 2 x 5 with 2 zeros added.

BEDMAS doesn’t always have the same abbreviation in different countries. Some use PEDMAS, BODMAS, or PEMDAS instead. Might be why you couldn’t remember

11 is easy though, because it’s just the same number twice. 11 x 1 = 11 11 x 2 = 22 11 x 3 = 33 11 x 4 =44 11 x 5 = 55 This applies up until 11 x 9 = 99

I've heard Fuwamoco are Canadian and BEDMAS is further confirmation of that!

It was in a country in south asia, and the elementary school i went to was a privateschool that followed the British curriculum.
