It looks like I need to complete some extra form of verification to have full links in video description. If you need any of these links while my verification is pending, comment and I will get them to you!
Nice video! I have a 23' too with pretty much all the mods you have. Be aware, there are a lot of reports of the frame bobbins cracking the frame, both on the KTM 690 and the gasgas 700. Check your frame!
Great looking bike! I have a 2023 KTM 690 SMC and have had so much fun with it up here in Michigan. I still question if I should’ve went with the red GASGAS but I wanted the traditional laced style supermoto wheels (even though they are harder to keep clean). I did the Cyclops headlight and also changed the little 5W parking light too to a Sylvania LED to get rid of the yellow halogen look. I can get you the part number if you’d like, but it was available at the local O’Reillys for a two pack and was around $15. Looks like yours might still be the stock halogen. Lastly, from what I’ve read, the more recent model years of this platform don’t have the slave cylinder issue as they were built post-recall. Mine has been fine and I’ve racked up 3,500 miles so far. Have fun with it!
There are no wrong choices between the 690, 700, and 701. I like them all. I am partial towards the KTM and GasGas though myself. And good call on the parking light! I will definitely do that to mine. I didn't even think of it when I was purchasing the cyclops headlight until I was in there installing and noticed the running light- so thankyou for reminding me. And that is great to hear about the slave cylinder. Fingers crossed!
@@Wizmoto-ml1si The LED parking light I went with was a Sylvania 168, cool white. Part number 168SL.BP2. Came as a two pack even though only one is needed. They are directional so if you install and it doesn’t light up upon cycling ignition to ON, flip the bulb 180 degrees. Certainly test before reassembling the front headlight mask.
Love the bike and mods,is the intake ,exhaust, dongle ,emissions delete and power commander everything you thought it would be? Or would you have possibly mixed it up a bit or not have done one or another or did it really wake it up. Thank you ride safe
Does the seat height feel any different with the comfort seat or is it just slightly softer? Would be cool if they made a low seat for the more vertically challenged 😅
Height-wise, no not much difference. It is only a little bit more soft than the stock seat and looks slightly different. I'm 5'7 myself, so it is definitely a stretch to have both feet down on this bike. But if you're confident on 2 wheels it isn't difficult at all. You get used to it.
