This was my old home made sled back in 2011 or 2012, it was an old beaten up polaris 340 chassis fan cooled, so I cut off everything from the sled, belly pan, hood and suspension, I used coolers, skid, tracks, ect from the 500 formula cut some truck leaf Springs welded them to the chassis and mounted the 500 in the 340 chassis and aligned it yp and welded the motor in place, at first I tried to turn while skipping ended up flipped the thing on water lol cuz the 340 chassis was weak and would twist everything I turned so it was only good for wheelies and going long distances
Xenith if your clueless it’s best to say nothing yeah the sand isn’t good for it but a few passes in the sand doesn’t hurt shit seeing as you hit water right after. Stupid comments like this are funny. I’ve been water crossing the same sled as this for 10 years and I’ve had zero issues 🤦♂️
Long story short, I narrowed the front end one time and did wheelies all day and did a wheelie to shore from the lake and landed hard it bent the chassis in half
Well if it's made from junk of course u can pop the throttle like that😂😂I am fatso1233 my old RU-vid, I was the owner and builder of that sled, it was an old 500 rotax non rave, polaris 340 lite chassis used the coolers from the 500 donor and made a stupid sled one day and said bro, let's go for a ride on the lake and we did
Don Mega it is fuckin mod, u dont see many polaris 340s with rotax 500 motor in em lol, na i juss had a stupid idea on time to make this sled so i juss made it for fun
It was a fan cooled chassis at the time so the chassis was completely bendable even the foot railings would flex so to try to turn it would juss flat slide and cause damage
