[MOD] Pump Action Nerf Rival Helios | 3D Printed Kit by F10555!

I found out yesterday that you can smooth 3d prints using an evaporated solvent. The one I saw used acetone on abs, and the print came out with all of the layers smoothed over. If you want to try it out look for "Acetone Vapor Bath". As long as the print is abs, it should work. As for other plastics, you'd have to use their solvents.

They should include earmuffs. 3d printed earmuffs, of course

To keep that deafening sound from happening try sanding the 3D printed parts

If the helios has a return spring for the bolt does that mean the pump grip can return by itself

I actually planned on getting a camo edition Apollo and the 3d printed kit for it but recently got a Helios and I actually much prefer keeping my left hand on the bolt grip and aiming the blaster that way. That being said, I don't focus on rate of fire when using springers and only really use them as a secondary when I don't need a flywheel primary to spew foam fast.

On these pumpactionkits, have you ever tried lubing and/or polishing the rails to make the action smoother?

i got this blaster yesterday.. it works well , fast and accurate ..but i bit disapponted about the quality of the bolt.. not so solid,smooth and tough as i hope that was nerf rival line..blasters

Some guys with this kit recommended that you gotta minidrill the barrel into the shell. That said, I need this kit!

Hey coop you can just put paking tape or scotch take on the priming parts to stop noise

I would like an Apollo for cosplay though, as you take the mag out, put a fresh one in, and prime the blaster once, like a Famas or an Uzi.

The blaster looks nice even just with the barrel piece

I've noticed that scraping sound on quite a few 3D printed sliding components. Is there any way to minimise that noise? Like with lubrication or sanding?

why don't you sand the 3d printed parts that scrape each other so it's quieter, I've never tried it but theoretically it should work. Or just put some lube on the priming grip.

Can you lubricate the area the pump handle is rubbing against the barrel extension? Maybe it’ll reduce the noise.

I don't think the noise is a problem you can just sand the 3D printing to decrease the sound

maybe with a little bit sanding and smoothing you could at least reduce that atrocious noise, or use a megaphone and just make the entire enemy team deaf xD

you can put a 12 ball magazine or a 18 ball magazine into that gun for more ammo

Hey Frank, what about the auto bolt return on the stock helios. How does that affect the pump action. Wouldn't the internal spring shoot the priming grip forward once it got to the back???

I was interested in this, but I want to have a helios kit where it is a barrel replacement kit like their Rival Apollo kit.

Even though it has pump action does that still mean it still has a spring return

I may have to pickup this kit but hopefully it goes down in price alittle

The rival line is simple if you want a top prime Apollo you want a side prime Helios if you want a pump action shotgun Hypnos or a full auto rifle you have the perses if you want a small semi auto smg the Hera or charger if you want a heavy the Prometheus and if you want a small pistol the knockout and that’s most of the line

What if you put a smooth material, like duct tape, on the inside of the pump grip?

Can you sand 3d printed plastic ? I have the Apollo version and the sound is really annoying

If you had it, I would've used a Retouch3D variable heat knife to smooth out the areas that cause that terrible friction noise of the 3D printed parts.
