Great video man, i really enjoyed it. It was surprisingly hard to find a good video talking about this mod considering how popular it is. Really glad you went into so much detail for the features, made me decide to install it. And thanks for putting in closed captions too, it sucks that most videos dont chose to.
Thank you for making that video, I've discovered that overhaul thanks to you and I have installed it, now the game feels immersive in a way that I hadn't felt before, more mysteries and unknow to explore, you never know what to expect really. The win is very satisfying for that reason, because you know that you can loose if your character is bad, undergeared, underleveled, it feels challenging and rewarding. I find some ennemies to be a bit too hard though, I set lower the difficulty level
Dude, your quality has jumped up substantially after all these videos. Still need to work on some pronunciations and stutters, but everything else about the vid like the editing and music was spot on. I recommend close captioning the script when you can. I gave up hope on Oblivion a long time ago, but all of these changes honestly sound interesting and even a little exciting. Next time I return to it, this will be a mandatory download.
Be glad you never encountered the Morag Tong. They are extremely annoying. They appear any time you try to wait outdoors in the Cheydinhal region, making waiting for events in that area a total chore. And they never stop. They should have been on a cooldown.
Boii, i installed OOO + MOO, and no way in hell i can go into the Realm of Oblivion in Kvatch the way i am (Lvl 2), anything inside there can kick my ass.
@@lucario7327 Oscuro's oblivion overhaul. its a really good mod that does pretty much the same thing but manually rather than thru scripts, so its less compatable with other mods. but its compatable with maskars and from what ive heard thats like the best way to play, havent tried it myself tho.
Wow. A lot has changed since I've last watched your videos. I'm not too big on the Elder Scrolls games but I was insterested enough to watch the entire video!
yeah I need this mod, I can't play with the scaling of oblivion because its just outrageous.... you are supposed to be getting more powerful, not everyone should be reaching your power except for some exceptional people not some random npcs, wolves, rats, etc. jeez, imo it was broken.
Yup. Pull entire dungeons with one attack. Need insane armour at lvl 10 + to even play the game effectively on normal. Every build has to be a super mega build, because every sorcerer you attack is a master with melee and, and every warrior is an expert sorcerer. Every fight is basically a boss fight. Yeah it truly is the definitive mod.
@@bigpep7987 General rule of thumb in video editing and game development, text should be on screen long enough to be read 3 times out loud. While yes, you can just pause the video it is not ideal.
My problem with this mod is that it is not lore friendly. Basically you can find a skeleton with Arthas's armor, from World of Warcraft. It's ridiculous
@@Valdetiosi The skeleton with Arthas armor is just an example, that mod is plagued with elements that are not friendly with the lore. I am lazy about having to manually remove all that.
@@Valdetiosi Exactly, that is why in the first comment I said "my problem with this mod". I never said that the mod does not work. I just don't like mods like that, and I don't like wasting my time so much by manually removing things from mods, to make them lore-friendly
It even plays nicely with one of my favorite overhauls, Modular Oblivion Enhanced, which has an alt start which delays the MQ and keeps Urinal Septic (hahaha I couldn't resist), as well as Midas Magic. I personally dislike Skyrim, even with mods, rather intensely; it lacks the replay value of TES 3 and 4.
