Modal Argon 8 Demo I No Talking + Custom Patches 

I would like to repeat that I bought these patches and they are simply worth the money. (only 5€... !) It must be said that some people ask 5 times the price for less good sounds... Just count the time you need yourself to program 50 patches. Couple of hours? Curious for the next 50 patches Alpha !

I very much like that you show here an FMish side of the Argon8 that does not come out in other demos.

Bought this preset pack yesterday and my biggest question is......why doesn't Modal put these in the synth from the factory ?!?!? These presets showcase the capabilities of this synth a lot better than the standard presets. I was considering returning my Argon8, but now I have heard the true potential of this thing, I am keeping it !

Best demo I have heard....hmm Korg wavestate suddenly doesn't seem as appealing

Nice! When I saw the early Argon8 demos I didn't like the sound of it, especially compared to Hydrasynth, but your demo changed my mind! It has the potential to sound amazing!

I thought I like Cobalt8 more, but after listen to this I would say Argon8 is more interesting and richer sounding synth.

I'm really torn between Argon, Cobalt and Opsix. I have Odyssey, Yamaha MX61, Streichfett... Also a TG500 and Wavestation racks that I seldom use. More and more I am steering away from rack modules. They cramp my style. I really like the little synths with 37 or so keys. You can take them places and design sounds on the go, record tracks in a motel room, etc, or bring it back to the studio after designing some patches and plug your master keyboard into it. , So anyway, yeah... I've been looking at Opsix, Cobalt and Argon for about a year. Still can't make up my mind. I get alot of nice analog or virtual analog sounds from Odyssey and Streichfett and I'm kind of looking for a more unique, crisp and hard-edged sound to add to the setup. That's why I've been looking at FM and wavetable synths.

without being bias can you tell me if this or minilogue xd is better? i want some nice square pluck sounds

I want to buy an affordable wavetable synth and I'm hesitant between the new Argon8x and the old Waldorf Blofeld. I haven't tried either. I like Argon tweakability but sincerelly I've liked more the Blofeld demos and youtube works. The difference between 61 and 49 keys doesn´t matter, but I'm concerned about the supposed difficulty of editing the Blofeld. What do you think about?

HI ! thank you for your videos ! I hesitate between a Peak and this synth...To my mind this synth sound often better than a peak - more warm and fat sound - but Peak sound more agressive and has more bass and more sound design possibilities. Are you agree with this ?

Are these the only the board effects ? My Argon 8 doesn't even come near...and gain outputs are very low in comparison with my Summit !! (maybe my A8 has a problem)

How long to receive the 50 patches?

Sounds very old fashioned. It think it's time to move forward here, and create the future, not the past.
