Techland really needs to just hire these guys to assist them with the Community Updates. These modders know exactly what needs to be done. Although the realism Mod I'm not too sure. Like it's really cool, but I'm weird when a mod messes with a game's lore. If it's lore friendly and expands on it then awesome, but if it breaks it like this mod seems to be doing, it's a turn-off for me.

@@perception2241 I think the lore is fine so Idc. What I do care about is that the lore in question is a gameplay mechanic and I hate it when lore has blatant contradictions like this. If UV staves off the infection, it shouldn't progress when you're exposed to it. Some people are completely fine with lore breaking features in mods, I'm not one of them since I like to immerse myself and suspend my disbelief as much as possible. I've seen enough Skyrim mods to know how annoying it can be when you see so many cool features in a mod, but it does that ONE thing that turns you off from it, and very few mods are highly customizable.

I'm glad E3 features are coming back, but we need to stop this narrative of being "promised" a certain product. We weren't, not once did the devs say that we were garunteed specific features. They merely stated their vision for the game, and now people have been running around harassing the developers for offering something that didn't fulfill our own expectations we set for the game despite our lack of involvement in actually developing it.

Even though I don't think Techland will do this, I do hope one day they release the C-Engine (the engine used to make Dying Light 2) just like they did with Dying Light 1's Chrome Engine. With how advanced the city builder seems, I'm pretty certain people could remake the original Elysium from 2018

Why i have a feeling there was a story campaign where you have to hop in metro to deliver some supplies or smth and a cut scene would play where the infected and volatiles would jump from nearby building and windows and we would have to fight them off and it ends with aiden jumping to the side and metro blows up with infected inside it. Just a feeling

Hey Ali! Quick question since I'm not very tech savvy. Would you mind doing a comprehensive guide on how to start modding your Dying Light 2 for players who are either new to modding or need a refresher? I know it's with Nexus, but I'm always afraid of doing something I can't undo or corrupting my game beyond repair. Unless you already did and I somehow missed it of course!

I can only say WOW, What a great mods and things people make and find. Techland should really integrate all of this into the game and pay the modders for the work they have done and lets not forget to mention them in the credits of the game. Great work modders! Hopefully Techland will show some sort of appreciation for all your hard work. 💪

What about sponsorship of modders?) It would be kinda nice to request some mods, like additional hybrid weapons, or just some new ranged weapons. You know, modified nail guns (hi, Dead island riptide), generic crossbows, like DL 1 and etc. I would personally like to see flamethrower in game (they have tech knowledge for C4, but neglect gas tank and scraps made weapon, lol). It is interesting concept of crowdfunding some mods. Like make community requets and donate needed sum to make mod go public on Nexus, and of course, to be made first of all)

Tbh, my opinion is this game needs more weapons. I heard before this launced that there is gonna be over 200 melee weapons, but c'mon. I Find the same 1H weapons all the time: buccaneer, camo axe, reliable axe, paper cutter, tomahawk, gravedigger, military machete. 2nd thing: add a third section on the map, maybe one outside of the city where would be little villages or something and you could roam in the nature, maybe discover more infected there etc, or new weapons.

Does the "hardcore mod" disable the weird "arrow magnetism" of the bow ? I just want my arrow to go where i aim (or if the target is far, that the projectile make a realistic trajectory). Currently i just need to around the head of enemies to headshot them. Nice feature right ? WRONG, when i'm aiming at a charger back to hit the weakspot, my arrow goes sometime in the reinforce part, even tho im aiming for the vulnerable one.

You can absolutely hear the metro above ground when in that area before the mussels Strike. ( not right before ) I mean any time in the game before the missiles. Just hang around there and you will hear the train coming. So it was in the OG plans.

I wish the ps4 version had a list of community mods like skyrim does on ps4. ps4 does allow it as long as people use the in game assets only when adding new land areas and buildings for skyrim so they could with this game if the creators add it in it would allow the community to get creative and it would be fun to try some new content.

I'm not sure how many people would agree with me, but all I wanted from DL2 was DL1 in a different area. Techland tried to reinvent the wheel too much IMO, and failed to make DL2 feel like dying light for me. Some additions were great, like the paraglider, which felt great with the verticality in DL2, but some decisions were not so great, like having a stamina system for climbing and gating so much of the free running behind inhibitors. It never felt great to start DL2 and literally not be able to do things that the game shows you is available, but sorry you don't have 300 stamina to do this activity. DL1 never felt bad to start again, not having the grappling hook makes the game feel way bigger and more immersive, but the feeling when you finally unlock it is also great.

i cant fathom how wrong the title is, the train and air balloon mod are cool mods, but these mods arent cut content or anything. when you have an entire parkour system, no one would want to travel by using as something as ordinary as a metro. the realism mods also arents saving dying light 2, because they're adding features completely unintended for the game. the only mod which helps "save dying light 2" is the ragdoll mod. no ones saving dying light 2. because it doesnt need saving.

If you make a back up of the save game files, you can always removed the mods and use an old save game to prevent bugs or crashes
