This is a follow-up to a recent video I made covering fabricating a small frame to hold a magnifying lens. In this one I modify the lens itself to securely fit the frame.
Yep, using the mandrel in the first video gives a smooth curve. Gentle expansion, by hand, of the ring is usually all that's needed to get it closer to the lenses size. Of course, you leave it a little undersized so it snaps on :)
