Football Manager is a very deep ocean to jump into in the first place, but once you decide to swim further you find a massive world full of potential add-ons for FM that can seem overwhelming. These mods are also what take Football Manager from fun to a game I quite literally could not stop playing so I made a career out of it. It is amazing how the little changes can tailor a game to your interests and increase the immersion ten times over.
I hope that the different ways to improve Football Manager help make the game better for you. The filters and views are the sneakiest of them all, because they can make your scouting and player selection so much easier in FM you won’t even know how to live without them. It makes the game so much faster. Let me know if I should make a guide or tutorial or whatever about my favorites! It’s a world I need to get into more, just like all of you. We’re getting better together. I think.

Essentials: Facepack, Logopack, Real Name Fix Recommended: Kit packs (both 2D and 3D), Skin More optional cool stuff: Background Packs, Trophy Pictures, Competition Colors Fix, Adboards. I like to view FMScout and look for more cool stuff. Most will not require a new save.

I installed Awards Overhaul Mod on FM21 that added a lot of new awards and I liked it a lot. Can’t really find it in FM22 tho, looks like it needed a bit more time

One very fun mod is kitbasher where you can design custom 2D and 3D kits. If you little bit crazy you can change all kits 2D and 3D in every club in nation. Maybe in all world😁

imo the fmscout name fix has the more realistic names, when i used sortioutsi a lot of german clubs had names that were technically right but no one ever uses for them and the fmscout one has the names everyone knows them under. for example rb leipzig is named rb leipzig in fmscout but sortitoutsi named it rasenballsport leipzig, which technically is right but no one calls them that

Hi Zealand I just downloaded the latest version of your skin 4.0 I had the first one that you made until I downloaded 4.0 and wow a huge improvement. I have for a long time wanted that in each league there is a difference in the scoreboard graphics so that it does not look the same in each league, (just like in reality) I think you have made a nice scoreboard graphic in the new version, but I don´t see many who write about the scoreboard, but for me it means a lot also for my desire to play, so would you consider making individual scoreboards in each league in the next updates in your skin? Thanks for making FM much better...

With steam you just click add ons and it will auto installed it. No need to go to folders. Works on MAC as well

Enjoying the US database. Started unemployed, landed the job with Real Arlington (aka Dallas Cowboys). It's a seemingly simple save, except for that 1 promotion spot, 3 other Big 4 sport supported clubs in the division, and a mandate to both win promotion and make the Round of 32 in the Open Cup. Oh, they also slipped, "Spend the transfer Budget" in *after* my hire. Fortunately only "desired."

Yes its totally worth it. Installation is very simple and the game fun gets improved a lot.

Yeah its amazing, can't play without it now, the guide is a bit all over the place but essentially, download the files, extract the files into your graphics folder (I have one called regens for it inside there) extract the filters and views files into your FM22 folders with the same name in Documents, extract and run the newGAN windows (or linux) manager. Once you're in game make sure you have show all staff and players if you have the editor, if not just make a new manager, go to player search click on the view sorter, it will probably be on general by default, go to custom, import view, find your "script faces player search" filter (mine is in the views folder inside that regen folder from earlier), apply that view on the player search, go to edit search, little cog wheel, manage filters and then find the "is newgen search filter" and apply it (make sure to go to exclude and untick your own players), CTRL+A, wait for it to select all then CTRL+P and select text file, name the file something like "save name+year" so mine is CHE2022. Run the newGAN, create a profile with something similar to your save name, select it, pick the update+1 folder for the image directory in the regen folder from before, select the text file you created earlier, hit allow duplicates and then replace faces and youre done

He explained it. Copy the three folders you downloaded and extracted into ALL the folders that are there where Z was (which are actually the different updates that came out game release).

Do as Z explained it. Copy it in all the folders. It will apply and the next time the national team is called up the "real" players will be called up.

I'm pretty sure you forgot to delete the specific folder with Zebre's name, but it could also be you downloaded an incomplete name fix file (like without those two teams)

Basically you have to look for the same kind of folders, but in an Epic Games named folder. Maybe search for it based on its name here and then open the containing folder. The rest should be same.

Can you not just put game data on a flash drive and then load up pc and then apply mods and then put flash drive in xbox and put game files back in the xbox as there both Microsoft?Reason I'm asking is because heard you can put xbox game data onto laptop and game will load up and can play it so surely we can apply mods aswell or they got a marker on that?

I never get how people can play with no logos or any updates, transfer updates, facepacks etc.... I know it's your game and you play how you want but why wouldn't you want the best version of the game? It becomes more fun and waaay more realistic and the base game doesn't compare

I don't want to clog my harddrive with all this data. Logo and real face pack is a couple of gb's I could use better with something else. Look at Zealand's harddrive lol, clogged up af.

Except for the real name fix they don't have any real impact on the gameplay. I don't really care if it's called Juve or Zebre. I only care about the fact that they demolish my Serie B team in the cup
