In this video I modify the Stagg SET-PLUS See Thru White Telecaster copy with new Wilkinson and Vanson pickups and compare the sound directly. Will the new pickups work wonders on the cheap Telecaster copy?

Ich würde den keramischen Humbucker am Steg wieder einbauen. Tipp von mir noch, die Saitenreiter sind glaube ich aus Guss Material, da könntest Du schauen , ob Du passende aus Messing oder Stahl bekommst, würde vom Sound her, glaube ich, noch was bringen. Schönes Video und gute Gitarre.🎼🎸🎼👏👍🙂

I am interested in buying this guitar and keeping it stock. I must say it sounds good with stock pickups too, I don't hear too much of a difference. This video is very helpful, vielen Dank! 👍🙏☺️

Yes if you are able to set it up a bit as i did in the first video - you can keep it as stock - it´s a very light and after setup comfortable to play guitar - i will also keep mine - Cheers ToKo

Dear ToKo, thank you for your reply and for your honest review and opinion. Just one question: is the neck comfortable in your hand, or is it too chunky?

@@antonakis79ohyes Hi, no for me it´s very comfortable (Strat and Les Paul Player) - but be aware i´m no Ibanez Shredder Player - the joint between neck and body is also very comfortable - and it is a bit top heavy because of the light body

Is this guitar's tone suitable for playing metal?

I think more with the original Pickups (more output) on bridge - the new installed are more Vintage - the overall sound of the guitar is very bright - think there are better guitars for this genre out there - grrreings Toko
