Tak, od dłuższego czasu używam tego zwykłego płynu do kalek Tamki. Nawet dokupiłem drugi bo mi się skończył. Nie zaobserwowałem żadnych problemów.

Ponieważ tak się robi black basing - technikę którą lubię i którą wybrałem do mojego modelu. Model niby w ciemnym malowaniu ale podkład nie był czarny, nałożyłem sporo białej farby robiąc marmurek. Gdybym użył białego podkładu i może zrobił pre-shading na liniach podziału na czarno to efekt w mojej opinii nie wyglądałby równie dobrze. W jednym się jednak z Tobą zgodzę - czepiasz się ;)

Well, if the original airplane is the same, then the model sets will be designed similarily.

Sorry, point I was trying to make is that the detail level is identical to 1:48 from older kits.

That was also my impression. If every model in 1:72 were that detailed, I wouldn't have the need to build bigger ones.

Niestety nie mam osobnego pokoju na hobby więc nie mam możliwości zamontowania porządnego wyciągu. Jednak zawsze zakładam profesjonalną maskę z filtrami węglowymi (nic a nic nie czuć) i majsterkuję gdy inni domownicy śpią w swoich pokojach.

Kilka razy z ciekawości zapisywałem to sobie i zwykle wychodziło mi około 30-35 wieczorów pracy nad modelem. Czasami taki wieczór to 1-2 godziny innym razem pół godziny, różnie.

Mam kolejne pytanie czy ten kolor a001 będzie nadawał się do pomalowania f4u 1d z tamiya ten z żółtym przodem

Na szybko przejrzałem instrukcję do tego modelu Tamki o którym wspomniałeś (polecam scalemates.com) i tam producent poleca kolor AS-8 Tamki. To jest o wiele jaśniejsza barwa (mój Wildcat jest bardzo ciemny, prawie czarny). Odpowiednikiem AS-8 z palet Hataki wydaje się być Hataka C274 Cobalt Blue, ale za to nie dam sobie obciąć ręki, musisz sam poszukać. Są też dedykowane zestawy barw do samolotów US Navy z czasów 2WŚ na przykład Hataka albo Vallejo.

Sprawdziłem ten kobalt blue i jest podobny ale nie ma go w wersji blue line a maluje pefzlem

No to lipa, trzeba szukać dalej ;)

Hello mate, in most cases I use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement and Cyanoacrylate.

Witam dodaj opuzniacza do farby. Improver do farby .

Przyznam się szczerze, że tą farbę Hataka w wersji Red Line kupiłem przez przypadek, miała być Orange Line pod aerograf ;) No ale całkiem normalnie mi się malowało tą farbą, jako rozcieńczalnika użyłem X-20A Tamki, rozcieńczałem mocno bo lubię nakładać barwę powoli i może dlatego nie zapychało dyszy aerografu.l

Yep, I wish all 1:72 scale models were that precise.

All of the 1/72 Arma kits I've seen have been really impressive for such a small scale. I've only got one myself, but I'll be getting more once I work my stash down to a more reasonable level

I have one model in 1:48 by Arma Hobby. I wonder if it's also that good.

You asked some good questions, mate. I had to think a little before answering (good questions do that to you ;)) - weathering - I just don't like the weathered look on the plane. I live among airplanes all my life (my father was in Polish Air Force) and the airplanes I ever saw were ALWAYS clean and tidy. I guess it was different with WW2 planes in the middle of the improvised airstrip but again, all the WW2 and WW1 airplanes I saw were in the museum - clean and tidy. Those facts shaped my image of a real airplane I want to depict in my miniatures. - The gloss finish of this particular model - I don't know. I just liked it the way it was after applying the wash. I felt that applying a satin varnish (which I planned) will make the model look worse, not better. What do you mean by "your approach to panel lines is different"? Applying light panel lines to a dark (almost black) airplane is not my invention ;) - I don't make the "flying" version of airplane models because I can watch them more frequently on the airfield (especially up close) than in the sky. And... making a flying plane is way easier than "parked" one - no landing gear, a closed canopy, no open hatches or panels. I don't like to take the easy way.

@@Big-Modeller thanks for this and at last someone else that dies enjoy the weathering!! Hooray!! And you provide great arguments when I have to defend anti weathering position. Lol I was thinking about doing a diorama of a show room dealership! All could then be glossy, shiny and clean! Bob

This will be your diorama, you can apply a hello kitty sign on whatever if you wish ;) Some people forget this is just a hobby and the modeller chooses the level of historical accuracy that he likes.
